So went to Chinese Buffet tonight. I felt so violated when I left
I spent lots of money and it was just ok. It was suppose to be my last buffet ever! At first I was pissed that I spent $100 and didn't enjoy but then on the way home I realized I am glad I was pissed. No love affair with the buffet for me anymore. I broke up with the buffet and I have no desire to ever go back. WOOHOO!!! New me here I come! -
7 days officially with no diet soda. I do miss and I wonder if I will ever drink it again?

My husband and I are both getting banded in December. How was your experience getting banded with your husband? Do you find it to be supportive?

Tonight at 12am will be 7 days without Diet Soda and I am craving one soooooooooooooooooo bad!!!!!

When I decided to do this, I decided all in! LOL even my screen name "SkinnyMiniMe". I am only dwelling on the great outcome, because that is what I want. Well I am a gym member! I really want to go back. I can't believe that I miss, but since I gained 50lbs I am embarassed. I only have the endoscopy, pulmogist, and psych left. Almost there but I am eager to get the band. How was the hosiptal and the prodecure? How many incisions? Glad you are on the right track! Maybe we will meet at a support group

After 14 hours of fasting, 6 vials for blood work, 2 Sonograms, 1 stress test and 1 ekg....I am drained!

Dr is out of network...If I keep my December surgery date I will have to pay my $200 deductible (X2 for my husband too) in December and then another $200 (X2) in January 2012. Or maybe I should push my surgery to January and save $$$$??????

I just went to the consult last week. Cardiologist today and seminar tomorrow. Are the support meeting every Wednesday? So I am assuming every year the deductible will have to paid between all the fills. I guess it doesn't matter as long as I am skinny. I think I am more nervous about the endoscopy. BTW how did you do? Pain? Weight loss?

In an other forum some said her dr. said the lapband does 70% of the work. That's a great %. Think about it WW its 100% the person. Everytime I 2nd guess myself I think I am getting a lifetime tool with a very high sucess rate. I talked myself out of this 3yrs ago but its better late than never!

The only question I forgot to ask was, Dr. Vohra does not take GHI but he will take their payment as outside dr and all I am responsible for is deductible if any. I fotgot to ask about the fills. Do you know? I found everyone helpful except the nutrionist. No pointers what so ever.
