  1. Hi Care from another newbie just wanted to say welcome. And good luck with the research, appts and decision in getting the band. I've only just begun the journey having been banded 6 weeks ago. Gosh doesn't seem that long. Anyway best of luck and you've certainly come across a fantastic wealth of advice, support and information!
  2. I know strange title LOL How do you get all the Water you need in? I find it really hard to drink what I need. Am getting sick of being dehydrated. Any hints on making sure I get enough water? Basically I've been told that I can drink just before a meal but not till 2 hours after a meal. This is why I'm finding it so hard to get the water in. I just don't seem to be able to find the time, plus I keep getting sidetracked and forget. And while I'm on the subject of water how long does it take to get used to not drinking with meals? That is one I'm really really finding hard. I think this is due to the fact that preband I drank when I ate. Oh deary me just gotta love this mental stuff.
  3. Wow Gerard well done on the weight loss. That is fantastic. Even with the hiccups I'm sure that you still feel fantastic. Good luck with it all and let's hope that this is it for you now and you get back to losing again.

Wow Julie that is fantastic. Well done. And as the others have said you look fantastic. Oh and I think we can and will all relate to the saggy skin! I'm totally expecting to look like a slimmed down elephant once I've lost all the weight! LOL
  6. Hi Mary I just wanted to say congrats on the weightloss. Great effort there. Hope that this last fill you have had is it for a while at least. At least to give you a break for a bit. It's amazing the different experiences with people. I'm yet to have my first fill, having it on Friday, and am looking forward to it. Anyway I just wanted to say hi and congrats. Oh yeah and well done on not putting on any weight! Now that is an effort in itself.
  7. Andie I can't help you but I just wanted to wish you all the very best of luck with it. And I hope they are able to work out what is going wrong.
  8. Well done on the weight loss Wednesday. I remember when you ran your tri I thought it was so amazing. One of my goals is to run in a marathon (not a good enough swimmer for a tri). You truly are an inspiration. Gotta say am loving this site so many inspiring people.
  9. Thanks girls for the welcome. Robynne I know everyone keeps saying it but thanks for posting your TT pics. That's something I'm going to have to look into once I'm all done. Bloody c-section! Anyway thanks again both of you
