hey good luck with the surgery! I hope all goes well... I am a huge hockey fan, played for 25 yrs of my 34 yr son plante earth. Weight has always been a problem espically the last 9 yrs since my acl/mcl tear playing roller hockey @ FLyers Skate zone. Thats when the weight started piling on! It will be worth it, I had my surgery on 10.14.11 and I feel gr8, probably the best decision I have ever made!! need anything hit me up!! GO Flyers!!! @smccarty,, hang in there.. it will be ok. I am baffled at a 30 day liquid diet. But every DR is different, I am finding success making my Protein shakes rathering then buying them and they have more protein and more filling. i hope this little info helps, i can send you an email of what my shake consists of if you would like to try it. had surgery on friday the 14th of OCT, filling pretty good.. Little soar, but on day 5 of chicken broth, jello & water I am in need of something a little thicker to the pallate..

I am new to the website and the discussion board here. My surgery date is 10.14.11 All I have left is my pre-op class & then the final meeting with the surgeon. I am very excited to final begin my lifestyle change, I started my 14 day pre surgery diet. The first 2 days were rough but today is day 4 and its not that bad! Can anyone recommend a Protein shake that you all like so I can switch to a shake instead of eating Shrimp & carrots for Breakfast. TY Jeremy W. Vineland,NJ -
