hello fellow scorpio. let's motivate eachother to get through the first phase of this journey; the liquid diet. mine is starting on November 17th and i have to do it for two weeks. how about you.

i had my last nutritionist appointment last night. it left me feeling pumped and very ready to take this journey. i am so excited. 22 more days and i will be banded. i am not overly religious, but thank you god for making this possible.

do insecurities and feelings of intimidation ever go away after you lose weight? I hope so.

is anyone on Diovan HCT? just wondering if i can still take that for high blood pressure immediately following surgery and after. i just checked the website and it said Diovan should not be crushed. any insight? thank you

we have the exact same birthday and i am exactly 10 years older than you. wow, are you liquid dieting for your birthday? technically i should be but my surgeon gave me permission to have dinner and cake and start the next day through my surgery date 12/1/11

30-days away from surgery day. so excited. 17 more days to eat solids before i start my liquid diet. i am vowing to not gain a pound in the next 17 days.

hey my friend. i noticed in the 100 positive things post that you mentioned a cream, what is the name of it. skinnyminime also asked. can you give us the name of the cream. something i would love to get rid of. thanks so much for the tip, never heard of that before. you have a great personality! i enjoy your posts.

hey michele. i read your blog, that is a great idea about trying to prepare for the liquid diet. i am trying to eat without drinking and that is so tough. you are in a good frame of mind. have a great day

going to the mall today. starting to walk 30 minutes everyday to get my body in shape for my upcoming surgery. i just hope i stay away from the food court. lol. this time i ate lunch at home so i will not be tempted to eat there. i never did that before. other times i would not eat before and make plans to eat at nathans.

everything happened very fast. i went to the seminar august 10th and the next three weeks sent to all of my specialists for their approval. all finished with that and everyone gave me the go ahead. i went to two nutrition classes and i have one more November 8th so basically, just patiently (sometimes not so patiently though) waiting. did you meet with your surgeon yet? do you like the group

i just read a blog on the forum yesterday that says she had the same thing and it turned out to be acid reflux. fluid coming out of her nose and mouth. she said to report to surgeon. Good luck to you
