  1. After 80lbs, my breast are still in good shape. Have hope ladies. I use palmers firming lotion and vitamin oil on them twice a day (immediately after I shower at night and in the morning). I have 18lbs to go to my goal. I have noticed a little of excess skin but I have watched the skin firm and adjust as well, I know its the firming lotion. In the beginning I was using pure shea butter, the kind that you get from places like the african street festival. I have gone from a 40 DDD to a 36D/C (I was this size freshmen year of college) they aren't perky but they are not saggy. I also take biotin and drink water. Hope this helps
  2. Congratulations, that is amazing keep up the good work
  3. I had this problem, I absolutely hated to eat and I feared that I would become malnourished. I felt like my throat was too small for the food and that it would some how burst, lol. I am now 5 months out and although it is much better I still sometimes have this problem. What worked for me was finding foods that went down easy and caused the least discomfort. Soups, applesauce, jello and oatmeal was my saving grace and the only solid foods I would eat. I also juiced and made smoothies in the blender. The beginning is hard because you get tired of eating the same ol thing but it will get better
  4. Hi Chyna, I got sleeved this past september when I was 25 and it was the best choice I have ever made. I have tried dieting and exercise for years consistently but it was never enough, I needed help. It is a great decision and a lifestyle change. Its still hard, but knowing you have this tool will keep you motivated. Congratulations on moving in the right direction. I'm here if you have any questions.
  5. So far everything is still intact. I am losing weight in the right areas. My only concern is a little bit of bat wings on my arm but then again I have not been exercising. I still have my
  6. This sounds like a great program. I am going to go ahead and join the party, I always wanted to run. I am still early out but jogging shouldnt be that bad on my body. I found the app on my BlackBerry
  7. It depends on how far out of surgery you are. I started eating oatmeal on my second week but only a very small amount. I too was hungry and just missed eating. I had a lot of trial and error. The sleeve is no joke, if it does not want to digest the food you will feel like you're choking or throw it up. Popsicles became my friend and those Naked drinks went down good
  8. I rub shea butter and vitamin E oil over my stomach everyday. I had surgery on 9-21-11 and I do not want the scarring. Someone suggested bio-oil and scar guard. I may check those out as well. I have noticed that the scars aren't darkening so I am going to continue my fight with my weapons shea butter and vit. E. Some are more discolored than others

  14. I am so TIRED! I am 4 days post op, feel like I am dehydrated and the hunger pangs are a BEAST! And of all places, I am at the airport waiting for my flight. This lady just sat in front of me with french fries and I don't even care for them I just want them because I know I can't have them. I just want to lay out and sleep and eat her french fries. Before I had the surgery I had a horrible dream that involved me eating krispy Kreme doughnuts and fried chicken. This is not a good start and the fatigue and coldness is crazy! How long did it take for things to lighten up? I grabbed a gatorade to help with the dehydration while I'm traveling
  15. I am also having my surgery on the 21st and the pre-op diet has been killing me slowly. I messed up the first day but I am on track and determined to get through it. You can do it, I just keep telling myself 3 more days. I am now having a slight headache but its bearable. Im also a full time student so my energy towards school work is at a low but it will get better. We are almost there, this is just the beginning to our journey. God Bless

  21. I am ready to restat my twenties as well! I will be sleeved on wednesday (21st). Hoepfully your skin bounces back when your weight stalls
  22. Congrats Viva La Sleeve on your progress. How do you feel, are you sore?
  23. Hello twenties!! I'm 25 and weigh 249. I am getting sleeved on the 21st of september. Considering our age, are there many issues with saggy skin and breast or hair loss? Are you guys happy with your decision or are there any regrets? I'm excited and scared at the same time. What about stretch marks, has anyone developed stretch marks due to the weightloss or saw an improvement in existing marks post surgery.
