  1. Walmart has premade and powders. In the long term powder is cheaper. I recommend you try Almond milk with the powders. Very low calorie (unsweetened) and good in both plain and vanilla. GNC also allows returns on powder if it does not work for you... At least mine does.
  2. Likewise. All the best for you and your future!
  3. Sounds amazing to me. Keep up the good work!
  4. Great post. This is surely not a race!
  5. Yep... you will lose if you follow portion sizes and don't cheat. Hang in there, the beginning is the toughest part!
  6. I would not think so. If you have lost 10 pounds in ten days, you may be a bit too tight. Make sure you are getting enough to drink in.
  7. Congratulations.... I don't care who you lost it for. You are the winner! Wow!
  8. Thanks Maddysgram!
  9. Total liquids before and after.
  10. Just trying to be honest and help. Consider me off your posts. Sorry you can't hear the input. And please... don't respond cause I will be gone!
  11. Call your surgeon and see if they can give you something for nausea.
  12. Your body is still adjusting. Give it a little time. I would stick to plain chicken and add a good high fiber veggie.
  13. Great start! Keep it up!
  14. Doctors go to school for a long time. I assume mine knows what he is doing! Trust yours.
  15. Congratulations on beginning your transition to banded life!
  16. Which time? ROFLMAO! Sandy.... based on your posts, I have concerns you can do it yourself. Are you afraid of the surgery?
  17. She likes to slink off to other forums and panic... knows we will kick her butt!
  18. Trust me...you will be glad you did it! I LOVE my band!
  19. The cabin is pressurized so no impact on the band directly. However, the drier air on airplanes does cause some dehydration and for me that means water retention. So... you band may "feel" tighter after the trip. I have had no problems with normal (lapband normal) food on planes.
  20. Ice chips in the mouth may help.
  21. Most likely gas after eating.
  22. As you adjust yourself to the current fill level you may find after a bit that you need another fill.
  23. Time to start over... beginning with asking your self the following question: DO I WANT IT. If you think anything other than heck yes, or the answer has a but in it, you are still not committed. You must make the commitment to change your life or the band will not help you this time either.
  24. Nope time for an office visit.
