I Catch Myself Wanting To Share with Every Overweight Woman I see
CHEZNOEL replied to donna12's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I think we all notice overweight people more now that we are banded. I know that I do. That said, I would never approach anyone. I have not even tried approaching my friends. They are adults who can read and they know there are options. It is up to them to seek the help we did. If it is not time in their heads, nothing we say will make it better, and would embarrass them even more about themselves. Yes, they know they are overweight without our help. When they come to the forum, I will be there for them, until then it just makes me sad. -
Measure your protein. Our eyes can deceive us after a while! Bee Well!

I would double check with the doctor about caffeine. It is a dehydrator so it may be a bit early. Try decaf? -

I believe that the band is the best if you don't want to have your tummy cut up. Investigate Band with Plication which is very positive in early tests.

I love when everyone kisses and makes up! LOL

It's the size of the bites, how well it is chewed, and even the type of meat involved. Some steak is drier and stringier than others.

Talk to your parents and you PCP. You will need their support. It take a lot of commitment and want power, as well as focus... not sure first year of college is the time for this surgery.

Drink by the clock... at least 2 oz every 15 minutes. In a 12 hour day that will let you get in 96 oz. That should be plenty.

See a nutritionist and work out a plan for 3 meals a day and a calorie goal. It is not good to eat only one time a day. Your metabolism will shut down. What do you typically eat in your meals?
