  1. As far as the PPI's...which one did you take, and did you have to crush it, or is there one small enough just to take whole? I am only 3 days out... I was sleeved on Wed. 9/7. I am doing pretty well, just dealing with bad gas pains, especially when I take sips of Water. The Protein shakes and Soups don't seem to bother me as much. I am ready to get my drain out and get back to normal. I love this site and the wealth of information that everyone shares. Looking forward to joining all of you on the loser's bench.
  2. My surgery is on Tuesday, as well! I am excited, but scared and nervous at the same time. I have been wanting this for so long, and now that it's finally here I am starting to freak out a little bit. I was sold on getting the band and never thought I would consider anything different until my nutritionist appt 3 weeks ago. She changed my mind, and now I am getting the sleeve. The band was so appealing because I knew I could have it removed and adjusted as needed. Well, the sleeve isn't either one of those, but I feel better with this surgery choice. I am 42 with 2 children, ages 13 and 5, and I have a wonderful husband. I would like to lose about 100 lbs. I look forward to seeing your updates and walking this journey alongside you. I will be praying for you on Tuesday!!
