    NSV at the gym!

Hold up can we just take a moment. I am stuck on the 11 babies part. WOW!!! I have 2 and I praise anyone with more than that. All the schedules and homework and just making sure they are okay. WOW!!! my hats off to you. I do want to try Zumba. I watch the info-mercial all the time. I seriously sit and watch info-mercials as if they were real shows on tv. LOL my hubs says I am weird but funny thing is he now sits and watches them with me, LOL so the jokes on him. You have inspired me. Not for the 11 babies, LOL but to try Zumba.
  3. Definately time for some new spandexy type pants. Too funny, but hey I think you would be much happier buying for weight loss than for weight gain. #priceless & #so worth it. This story has made my day.
  4. Yes indeed. I agree you must nip this in the bud right now. A week ago (listening to people saying I was thin enough) I let myself gain 7 lbs. from 173lb to 180lb. OMG!!! I know I was freaking out. But a quick analysis of what I was doing (snacking, eating any and everything I wanted, and whenever I wanted) showed my problem. I simply went back to basics, cut out all snacking and got plenty of Water & Protein. Happy to report I am 172lb today, so all is not lost. Just pick yourself up and get on the right track. (I say pick yourself up because if you are like me I felt like I had fallen down in a hole or something when I saw the 7lb increase.) But you have caught yours early on. You will be turned around in no time.

    GOODBYE to my Mirena??

I had mine installed 2 years prior to my sleeve surgery. I did not have any problems with it during surgery or recovery and now that I am almost a year out I am continuing to be problem-less with my Mirena. I don't understand why you would have to have it removed... I think the nurse may be confused. Make sure you talk to your surgeon and your GYN.
  6. Side effect of sleeve, I have to get all new winter shoes. My old ones do not fit, I literally walk right out of them. I rather replace for weight loss rather than weight gain.

    When is enough, enough?

Hmmm. When is enough enough? This is the same exact question I was pondering for the last couple weeks. I got down to 173lbs and like you I could wear 6's and some 4's. I was happy with the size clothing not too sure about the lbs. And listening to all the commments floating around I started to wonder should I go any lower or not. My aunt actually commented that I looked like a druggie, I was getting so small. Well I let myself start to eat whatever I wanted and whenever I wanted. I didn't weigh myself for like a week and a half. And boy could I tell. My jeans started getting tight. I finally got on the scale and it read 180lbs. Holy cow a 7 pound increase. You talk about a sinking depressing feeling. Right then I knew I was not ready to stop losing and to heck with what others said. All I could see was 298lbs flashing before my eyes. Now I know I could not ever get back up to that weight but seeing that 7lb gain was enough to scare the crap out of me. But I am the one who has to put on either the big girl panties or the little cute ones. And I am happy to report the with a couple days of monitoring and eating correctly I am down to 174lbs. Whatever you decide to do just make sure that YOU are happy. Don't listen to others, Listen to you and your body. That is one lesson I have learned and learned well.
  8. Feeling better today. Could it be, cause it is Friday? or because I have the best gift in the world, my sleeve. It helps me correct wrong choices/behavior.

  9. I am having one of those days. Trying to think of the positive.

  10. UGH!! I got very comfortable in my size 8's lost focus, started settling in. Would be okay if this is really where I wanted to stop, but it is not, got 38 more lbs to go. Hello shakes & protein, goodbye bad eating habits. I have miles to go before I sleep- Hear that song in my head. lol.

Do u drink pepsi and coke??

I don't drink them myself, but I believe there are several members that drink them with no problem. What does your doctor say?

    To my fat,

Ok I love this entry. I must say I felt you on everything that you said. I think we all should write a letter like this. It is a end/goodbye to a long long long relationship for most of us. And with any goodbye we must have closure. I think your letter has provided that. You have encouraged me today. Thank you.

    The magic of lingerie

Well I don't know if you have these stores close or not, but I like Burke's Outlet & Citi Trends. I found a Referee outfit out of Burke's for under 5 bucks. And I went in Citi trends and I got a multicolored one-piece and a red and white nurse's ensemble. They were boh 10 bucks and big hits. Now that you remind me I have to head back to these store. I saw a maidenly wench and a policewoman, two pieces I am sure we can have a blast with. Nothing like a little dress-up and role play.
  18. Ok so the skinniest lady in the world, at my office, just commented, "Wow you are really getting skinny. You look so good." I just smiled and said thank you. A true compliment coming from her.

  19. I did not want to see mine, but my hubby and my mom did. I was so zonked out I would not have even remembered looking at the thing. But hey it is worth a shot to ask.
  20. Okay so I'm in the Goodwill with my mom and son, I was in search of the perfect shade of grey slacks. Well I pick up a size 8(which can I say I am thrilled to be able to fit), a size 6, and a size 4 that I knew no way in the world I would be able to fit. But hey my son said, "mom they look like they could fit you." I was thinking "Mmmhhmmm I don't think so." Well sleeve family, I could not wait to get online to tell you guys that I not only got in the 8's, but I even got in the 6's -very comfortably might I add. But HELLO can you hear me, HELLO, I say, I even got in the size 4's. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I love my sleeve. I love my sleeve. I was in the dressing room jumping up and down. saying OMGosh I can actually fit a size 4 in slacks. And these were labeled from the "Express" store. I don't know how many of you have that in your area mall. But as a person who was tipping the scales at 298lbs I could only look at their clothes never try on or even wear, as it was made for skinny chicks. Oh side note the size 6's were labeled from Talbots. Some of the women will understand why I am saying what store the clothes are coming from, as some stores clothes run smaller than others. So to wear a size out of a particular store is an incredible thing. Sleeve-Land is an Incredible Thing.

    NSV - made my day!

AAAWWWWW!!! That is so awesome. Out of the mouths of babes. Just saying.

    Can You Hear Me!!!!!

I like to think so, but my hubby says its because I have chicken legs. I am smaller on the bottom than on top. I have always had big girls (DD and up). But they are even balancing out as I am down to a C cup. Praise the Lord. If I had my way I would be a non-existent Cup. LOL.

    Can You Hear Me!!!!!

My ultimate goal when I started this thing was to be in a single digit size in clothing. I didn't really know what number weight I wanted to be. So I am thrilled beyond my wildest dreams.

    Can You Hear Me!!!!!

Thanks you guys. I am constantly amazed everyday with this sleeve. It is amazing. And it is so nice to have others to share with that understand your happiness. My sleeve birthday was Dec 14, 2010. I started at 298lbs and today I am at 175.6lbs. I want to share this gift with everyone I know that is struggling just as I did with losing/keeping off weight. I swear I thought I had missed the meeting on "how not to be fat." I spent countless dollars on products and different gimmicks. I am so greatful to have this tool. Now I feel that I can/am doing it and without fear of failure. People dont understand unless they have been there through the hope of success with a new product/method and then ultimately, the failure. Tearing up now I must stop. I just wanted to share. Let's all rock on with our sleeves.

I think you handled that very well, if I do say so myself.
