  1. I would say you are an inspiration to many! I love following your blog and seeing your progress. I am jealous that I am not there yet (note I said yet) as I too will be on the loosers bench one day soon. And I know that I CAN succeed by seeing all the great results from everyone. Be a role model as the more you succeed and keep up the more people that are struggling will realise what a great tool the sleeve is and may someday themselves go through with the surgery.

Keep the thougths positive and it should help your mind stay positive. Its a new and exciting path in life that needs to be relished and explored and enjoyed in all its glory.

  2. Yoghurt is tolerated as the bacteria break the lactose sugar down for you. That is why you had no problems with the yoghurt. The lactose free milk is perplexing as to why it is causing you mild discomfort. My only thought would be that it is only approx 99 to 98% lactose reduced and you are having a mild reaction to the small percent that remains.

I would either try almond milk or if you like the soy ones try them. Your stomach is still healing. Slowly introduce the lactose reduced milk after some healing time.

  3. Oh and Blackberry I would offer to drive and pick you up but I will be out of town at the time of your surgery. I know the cab is super expensive to get out to the airport. See if there is an airporter bus that goes out and then only need to cab to say a hotel in downtown Edmonton. Just a thought. Would be alot cheaper that way.
