Just saying hello....Still a work in progress but I am all smiles along the way

So I will have my six weeks surgerversary on Monday and I am so excited. I started off with a rough start....Down 24 pds since surgery, but I have to be honest that I have not worked out as I have should and have not followed my diet to a T but I am excited for a new year and a fresh start.....starting Today!! Happy New Year everyone!!

So I have been sleeved and for the first few days I was chantting....Why Why Why did I do this to myself....Now I am feeling like a million bucks. I am not 100% yet, but I am so close I can feel it

I am soooooo happy to have a community that I can run to and share my excitement. I submitted my predetermination for benefits on today and I am so happy that the request was made for my psych eval. I submitted my predetermination myself and my psych eval is not until 09/29. I purposely sent in pred without it, because I wanted to know if any thing else was needed. I am sooooo grateful to God for giving me this opportunity to live again. I am asking for your prayers for a speedy approval...

I had my first appointment with the surgeon MD David Kim. He was so awesomely pleasant. His bedside manners and fun youthfulness was much appreciated. I am getting my records together and scheduling my psych eval for my predetermination of benefits. I am so excited. Its funny being on this side of the insurance thing being that I work at an insurance company.

I am currently working on obtaining approval and still trying to find the best option for me. I havent made a decision to have the VSG or Bypass but I am leaning towards the sleeve
