10 Days Post Op And Leaking Incision
deekaspor replied to Shubox's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Same thing happened to my friend. Our doctor told her it is basically a tiny pocket behind the incision area. Hers drained for about a week, then totally cleared up. I had surgery the same day, however did not have that issue. -
Awesosme achievement! Way to go. I hope to do one soon

deekaspor replied to SkinnyMinnie2Be's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
1. Run the DirtyGirl 2. buy a $300 pair of size 4 jeans (currently in a 6) 3. teach a cardio class at my gym -

Pb2 is really good in the Costco Premier chocolate protein shakes. It is like having a melted Reeses peanut butter cup:-)

I was not eating solids at 7 days, just liquids. Just make sure you follow the doctors orders.

Rocky start but now you can heal. Best of luck and no looking back except to compare before and after pictures!

How Would You Respond?
deekaspor replied to BigGirlVee's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I do the same as SunnyCox stated. I tell people I eat less and exercise more, which is not a lie. -
Not Eating And Gaining...
deekaspor replied to jessfharris's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Regardless you must eat! He was a stupid f@#$, but don't allow him to make you sick. You will gain if not eating properly because your body is not going to know when it will get food regularly so it will store it leading weight gain. It was HIS decision to cheat, you getting skinny is not an excuse. Stay strong! -

Made A Gross Error In Judgement...
deekaspor replied to Piplula's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
oh flan, that is liquid gold! Well now you know flan is OFF the list. I bought a new car last night and you know how long all that paper sigining crap goes on. So by the time we finished there was only fast food open, I ate my first (and LAST) McDonlads chicken nugget since my surgery. One single nugget sent my sleeve into a frenzy! -

deekaspor replied to KinnymomX3's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Remember to tell the kids that you are not mad at them. Kids will internalize things, so you need to keep reminding them. Even the super young ones, tell them how much you love them and you are not mad at them. Trust all of us on this site, the moodieness will go away. Hang in there! -

Very Irritated And Short Tempered
deekaspor replied to KinnymomX3's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Trust me the short temperedness will go away. I was super scared I was going to stay a b***h, my poor husband. But it does go away, well replaced with a little depression then it goes back to normal. Hang in there tell your kids mom is going to be a little different but it won't last. -
How Do You Manage It All?
deekaspor replied to KikiCC's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I take all my Vitamins first thing in the morning when I get up at 3:45. Then I drink a Protein shake on the drive to work, which is an hour drive! Around 8:00 I have yogurt, then lunch at 11:00 usually something chicken, 2:00 is a cheese stick or nuts, 4:00 another Protein Shake for the drive home then a little bite of chicken before cardio class. dinner is aftern the gym so usually around 7:00 and it is turkey or chicken. I drink continuously in between except for the 30 minutes before or after. I know I don't get in all the Water I should. Make time for exercise to help with sagging skin. You will be losing weight even without it, so don't be tempted to let that be the way you lose. Still get out there and exercise. My life has changed and it seems like I am either exercising or eating all the time. Good luck you will love it! -

Hair Loss For People With Already Thin Hair
deekaspor replied to kamrie37's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
This is my second biggest fear. My hair is also so thin with a super large part. I was thinking of getting a fun wig. I sure hope it grows back like everyone is stating. Of course my first biggest fear is gaining all my weight back. -
Worried About Stretching: Is It Easy Or Hard To Do?
deekaspor replied to WLJourneyJ's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
A few meals here and there won't stretch your sleeve. I also had to learn to measure my food because just one bite over made me sick. Really learn what that feeling is before you over eat. The feeling is there we just were not use to it.
