very discouraged...banded 8-23-11...only lost 38 lbs.. hungry and not really feeling restrictions.. only have 4cc in band..following weight watchers diet..aargh!! so down..AND going to gym 3 times per week..what gives???

GOOD LUCK for surgery!! you will do great! Little discomfort for few weeks.I actually returned to work after 2 weeks. Biggest pain I had was actually in my arms because of all the gases being pumped into me during sedation. Its worth it!!

7 weeks post-op...24 lbs LOST..feel like it should be more! exercising too!! i think i will have to ask my md for a fill!! any advice??

Dr Mcmullen used to be in charge at SIUH... You are going up to Success, NY for the surgery?? Your insurance should pay..MIne was United Healthcare and they paid almost the whole amount..

Hey! Congrats on the weight loss!!! I am 9 days post op and only lost 10 lbs!! how are you doing it? maybe I am not having enough water thru the day? what is your typical diet if you dont mind!!

Just had my surgery with Dr Gibbs on the 23rd!..Her office really worked with me to get my insurance to cover the surgery...Good Luck!!!

5 days post op...pain subsiding little by little...but pain in my back is tremendous!! Anyone else?
