HEy,, I am also frustrated!! I feel your pain..I had the surgery in aug 2011.. I have only llost 39 lbs! very aggravating. I am also hungry and can eat ANYTHING! I am going next week for the md to evaluate me and possibly get a fill. GOOD Luck and don't give up!! you can do it!

I was banded in AUG 2011.. so far only lost 39 lbs..I really would've preferred a larger weight loss. but... slow and steady I guess... Ialso work out three times per week. With the band though, you can basically eat anything.. which might get you in trouble..you have to change your way of life..regardless of which surgery you choose..GOOD LUCK! ]

Girls.....good luck! I was banded on 8/21/11.. so far..2 fills and still only have 4cc in my band (my doctor is very cautious) and I have lost 38 lbs!! Its slow and steady... kinda like what you would lose on weight watchers! so worth it...I am exercising 3 times a week though.. Good luck and keep me posted!!!

Awesome weight loss! I AM GETTING A LITTLE DISCOURAGED.... Surgery was 8/23/11...I have only lost 36 lbs...feel like it should be so much more....How much fluid do you have in your band if you don't mind ne asking.. I have 3cc... think I need to ask y md to fill more...

HI, I was banded by Dr gibbs also on 8/23....I still havent gotten a fill. I am hoping she does it this friday at my appt...from what I hear, she doesnt like to do fills if you are losing weight...I really hope so!! let me know...GOOD LUCK'
