  1. Best of luck for a speedy approval!!!
  2. I am like this...sometimes, not always tho, it is weird. We have to realize our bodies are going thru some serious changes and our libido will be back, just be patient! Think how much better we will feel about ourselves when we arent carrying around a 100 extra lbs ( my situation ) I was always so self concious about how I looked so it was hard to relax an enjoy intimate times.
  3. I think you are doing it perfectly. I started with 20 minutes, adding 5 every couple days and it worked well for me. Try adding 5-10 minutes and see if it is good with your body. I couldnt wait for the weights too, seemed like forever!
  4. Congrats Mitch, glad you are doing well. Best of luck to you!
  5. Hi Amy, thanks for sharing your story. You will LOVE the sleeve, I havent had one issue and I am 30 lbs from goal in 5 1/2 months. Keep us posted on your journey. Welcome to the forum, you will love everyone here, they are great people with lots of helpful information.
  6. Woo hoo! Congrats on the huge weight loss!
  7. Great idea for a post. I am going thru some family issues right now. My dad is dying but we had a great visit last weekend and he is at peace ( as much as he can be) I broke my 2 week stall, only 1 lb but a loss is a loss. The weather is nice here in Northern Ca, high 70's, abnormally cool but it could be over 100 so I am not complaining. Keep up the fantastic work everyone,we CAN do this!
  8. I am so sorry you are feeling bad. Hugs to you for a speedy recovery!
  9. You need the sleep, you will eventually ge the fluid in you need, give it time. Just make sure to drink as much as you can when you are awake.
  10. Thanks so much Kentucky Girl for your kind words. Your Dad did hear those things, I know he did. My biological Dad died at 54 and he was in a coma too and I sat with him for two weeks every night talking to him and I did get a few slight responses from him, even if it was only a slight eye opening or a small squeeze from his hand, I knew he heard me.
  11. I havent tried those yet. I do love the bars tho!
  12. Nope, bmi chart means nothing to me. It is what I feel comfortable at. My primary doc said the bmi charts are a bit extreme.
  13. NO REGRETS!!!! other than wishing I had done it sooner!!!
  14. Yaaay Pam, best of luck to you!
  15. The exercise will definitely help with the energy level. Maybe you need some more protein? Also, the b12 will help too.
  16. Welcome and congrats! I wouldnt have the last meal, just in case. I only had to do a two day liquid before surgery...thank goodness! Best of luck to you...keep us posted when you can.
  17. Thanks everyone. I drove to Oregon Saturday morning and stayed till last night, visiting with him. My brothers also came from California so we had a good visit reminiscing and laughing. My mom is having a hard time on and off , to be expected. My one brother is still there, my other is going back up tomorrow and I will be back up Friday. He is at peace with the situation and that helps me tremendously, I dont want to see him suffering. We are waiting on the doc to come in for an update. Thanks again my sleeve family, your kind words mean so much.
  18. I agree...isopure is nasty! I drank Muscle Milk lights the day after surgery...no issues. I say give it a try, wont know till you do! Good luck!
  19. Thanks chitowngirl, that helped a lot. Thanks ShapeShifer for your kind words. PdxMan, thanks to you too, I think Portland is quite a ways away from Klamath Falls but thanks for the invite! Phyllis, I appreciate your kind words, helped me a lot this afternoon. I want to thank everyone in this forum for all the help over the last 5 months, I knew I could count on you all!
  20. I too brought a ton of stuff...used only toothbrush/paste, phone charger, chapstick and yoga pants/tee to wear home.
  21. Thanks Carol for the advice, I think I will go do the Zumba class tonight!
  22. Lizzy, I was just up there end of May, had a great visit. I will go up soon, I am waiting for my mom to call me, she is having a talk with the docs right now. Thanks for your support.
