I would change up your exercise. When I start running again I always drop a lot if weight. (I just don't like to run so I don't do it often :-) ) your body is used to your routine. Add some calories, monitor your carbs. And Water. 8 glasses is just the recommendation. My trainer told me to strive for 1/2 my body weight in water.

Exercise is only 20% of the whole weight loss picture, but an important part in my opinion. I have lost 120 pounds and no one believes I still weigh 173. My tummy is flat, not much loose skin, my shoulders are toned, I have noticeable biceps and calves. Not to mention it makes you feel better. And good for your overall well being. Why would you go through all this if not to be at your best? Even 2-3 days a week 45 minutes each time will help.

That's kinda what I look like now. No one ever believes me that I still weigh 173. I have been busting it at the gym for 11 months now. It's so worth it!!

Um not measuring logging and paying attention to what I ate is what made me fat to begin with.
Why would I want to go back to that route?
Logging is Important. And if that's what it takes to stay thin and healthy ill continue every day.

What he said and they taste absolutely horrid. I thought so anyway. Only time I barfed after surgery.

Hi Everyone!I haven't formally introduced myself here. My name is Gabriela. I'm a 21 year old college student. I was approved a few weeks ago for surgery. I'm having surgery on Monday (12/17)! I'm really nervous' date=' but working on research papers right up until the morning of surgery will hopefully keep me distracted.
Today I had my final meeting with my surgeon and nutritionist before surgery. I'm 5'6" and 271lbs. She said "By October, you'll be down to 150lbs, no problem!"
I asked her "Really? Doesn't that seem a little fast?" and she said no.
Maybe I'm just being pessimistic? But 120 pounds in 10 months seems really fast! And I've seen that not everyone loses weight so rapidly. I was thinking a year and a half to get to goal weight.
I guess what I'm wondering is, have any of your surgeons or nuts set a goal for you that you thought was a little too much?[/quote']
I did it :-) just do what is best for YOU! Your the one you have to live with. Get in your Protein, Water, watch your carbs get in a good workout program and you will do great!!

I would get a second opinion and get resleeved or DS if needed. You don't want a band, think of all the reasons you got sleeved instead of banded.

I use the women's one a day petite. I'm a gagger. I gag at everything. Told this to my doctor and they said to just try a multivitamin....this one isn't tiny but much smaller than others I've tried.I use this one as well. I take one in the morning, then the other at lunch. It's much tinier and thinner than the other brands. I swig it down with some apple juice. I think they go down smoother with juice than Water.

This thread reminds me of my favorite comic strip.Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

I agree 100% with Sunny!! It happens. Don't beat yourself up and just keep swimming.

I was told 2 weeks. Vitamins are very important though. I can always tell if I slack off for a few days.

Hi I'm at 13 weeks. I fill like my sleeve is not as tight as it use to be??? What is your daily food journal Around 10-20weeks.??? I don't want to slip up just because I can eat more off different things now. I hate this head hunger trip thing. I'm trying .. It is such a process.... (:It is healing, the inflammation of the surgery has gone down. it hasn't stretched or anything. You will be able to eat more. At 4-5 months I was TRYING to eat 600-700 calories. Only good advise for head hunger is fight through. Just make every meal count.

I still don't have a "style"
I was preppy casual I guess you could say. Polos button ups Tommy Hilfiger. Now I just don't know. I never buy much cause I can't figure "me" out. Right now I am trying to find a dressy blouse to go with some tight black pants that look amazing on me. I am 31 and everything looks a little young or a little mature. Do I shop in misses, Jrs Ladies I DUNNO! Hopefully I can find something nice. Or I'll just have to wear the amazing Victoria Secret Push Up bra I bought to go under it

Yeah it was probably just the thickness of the Soup. Take a "bite" lay the spoon down let it settle for a minute then Try another. Training ourselves to eat slower Is a really hard part! It should take 20-25 minutes for a "feeding"

Oh no' date=' I hope it doesn't get that way for me. I really have no problem with it and enjoy making my boyfriend happy so I think we'll both be sad if it grosses me out after surgery.[/quote']
