I love step class! We do it in aerobics every other week. It is fun and time goes by fast. You do burn 600 calories!

Nothing is going to help untill you get some help for your eating issues. Maybe some counseling? Something is making you still want to eat. The sleeve is just a physical tool. If there are some emotional issues as to why you eat they aren't going to go away overnight.
Good luck on this journey. And a wise woman once told me, take out the ONLY. I have lost 52 pounds in 5 months! That is still 10 pounds a month! A huge accomplishment!

You need some fresh fruits in your diet! If you are worried about carbs get fruit from the low end of the glycemic index! Blackberries, cranberries are low. Strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, peaches, honeydo, apples are all mediums.
But really. As long as you are eating fresh foods I wouldn't worry so much about sugars. It's when you start eating Cookies, donuts all the "bad" foods would I worry about sugars!

I use the gel perfect kind, i get it at Walgreens for 10.00. it's just like polish and it usually stays till I remove it. It's a good alternative to going to the salon, I spend my extra money on clothes these days :-) but when your healing, taking your Vitamins every day your nails will go like crazy!! I love my nails now. They used to crack and peel pretty badly!

I am 9 months out. I could eat a lot more carbs at the beginning than I can now. I'm with butterthebean. I would take the first 6 months and let your body adjust and eat les carbs, then start adding more in the closer you get to goal. I really think you lose more weight with carbs lower on the glycemic index. Fruits veggies whole wheats.

Arsenio had problems with Aubrey O'Day- Beautful girl. Claimed to be a singer' date=' actress, etc. But I never saw her before CA. She was Lisa's partner in crime w/ verbal assaults toward fellow contestants. Lisa is a big mouth. That's how she makes her living. Maybe she'll dual down the b***h factor when she gets to her goal. Peace.[/quote']Aubrey Oday was on that show "making the band" on MTV. She was in a girl group for awhile.

I would go with the Xbox Kinect. I enjoy it better and actually feel I get a workout. My daughter and I do the wii just for fun. Most places actually have a special now 250 for the Xbox and Kinect. (Started my Christmas shopping noticed all the good deals :-) )

My trainer said 100 calories per mile or 20 minutes of workout that's for a 150 pound person. So you would have to just accordingly. My fitness pal just does an average for your height and weight.
Your best investment is a heart rate monitor! Mine was 63.00 on Amazon, polar FT4 it is awesome!! I wear it a lot even when I'm just cleaning and walking the dog, it's nice to know your heart rate.

You will get used to my doing that I promise! I am 8 months out and I never lick the beaters or spoon anymore.

Thank you so much for this information. I had no idea onDemand had work out videos. I am looking through them right now!
No problem! I do them when I can't get to the gym for any reason or another.

One question?
How's your butt??
55 miles is amazing!

Do you have cable? They have tons of free workout MoVies on demand! I used to do Sweatin to the Oldies with my mom. It was fun
If I was going to invest in some DVDs I would do Power 90. It is the first DVD set in the beach body series (creators of P90X) everyone I have ever talked about them say you get a great burn and see results.

Thanks fluffy!! Some of the women in the supportgroup I go to have had their arms done' date=' and the scars are so scary looking. I'm going to dig out my weights today.[/quote']I have seen a lot of post plastic surgery arms as well and the scars are a million times scarier than my arms. I have seen quite a few TTs like that as well! I will try to post a pic an show you. If I can figure it out.

Have you been working out during the six months? I'm terrified because I started at 325' date=' am 5'8. My arms are huge. I'm only 8 days out and not supposed to lift anything over 5 lbs but I'm seriously contemplating starting arms with 5pm dumbbells to hopefully avoid having plastic surgery. Also, my chest was a solid 36C/D before I got really heavy (around 170lbs) I'm hoping hoping hoping it doesn't deflate too much from the 42DD it is now.[/quote']
I am 8 months out, I have lost 102 pounds. I have been hardcore working out for 7 months. I started at 292 and my arms were horrible. They were way out of proportion for even my large body. Now they are getting much better still saggy but not as bad. They started at 20 inches and they are down to 12. I have noticeable biceps. Start with 2 pound weights. Low weight high rep. Do curls, tricep kickbacks, tricep pushups, rows. Whenever you feel up to it ofcourse. Now my stomach on the other hand... I held all my weight in my lower tummy and thighs and my lower stomach Is wrinkly and kinda gross, but again it's getting much better. I got really lucky on my butt, legs and thighs no extra skin or even cellulite. Good luck, and you are right the skin is better than the weight!

Do you get PMS? Maybe because of what your eating during the time, your body might need more calories? Water? I dunno. Whatever it is, too bad you don't get more periods your stalls would be broken more often :-D

How long do u have to wait before u can start circuit training?? How long did u all wait to start heavily exercising??I would wait until you are completely healed to do circuit training, maybe 3 weeks a month? It is a lot of strew on the tummy. There is no real time, just whenever your body feels ready.

I do that workout every Sunday. I think it's helping my muscle tone And my leg strength. It takes about 15 minutes but I'm sweating hard core when I'm done. I started at 50 but made it up to 100 after a few weeks.

20 squat jumps
10 bicycle lunges

Awesome!! It was hard when I started.
Little tidbit, crunches only target a small area of the tummy. Google ab exercises. Bicycles, planks, bridge lifts are all great for your abs and you won't have to do hundreds to get results.

I won't do my arms, every arm procedure I have seen on people and online, the scars look worse than my arms. And my trainer had a TT and has a 7 inch scar across her tummy. I think I will be quite happy if I just got some new girls. Thinking about putting them on my credit card actually.

Well I wouldn't say it was "fun" but you see how really in shape you are (or aren't) when you do manual labor. I work out 6 hours a week and was feeling pretty good about myself, till I mowed the grass and thought I would die. It's a completely different work out! Now I do most of the grass cutting for some cardio.
