How Can People Not See It?

A quote I saw on Pintrest: it takes 4 weeks for you to notice weightless, 8 weeks for family to notice, 12 weeks for friends, 16 weeks for acquaintances. So they will notice soon.

    Unjury...yay Or Nay?

Just DO NOT spend a ton of money on protein powder before surgery. I spent hundreds of dollars and couldn't hardly stomach any of it afterwards. You should just get a bunch of samples and decide what you like best after surgery.

    Does Anyone Have The Treadclimber?

I can't use the tread climber I'm too clumsy haha. Lissa maybe you are thinking of the stair master?
  6. I tell my hubs I don't need his used Protein. My stomach didn't like it before surgery I'm sure not trying to choke it down now :-D I didn't enjoy 50 shades of grey. I guess I'm vanilla with some chocolate sprinkles, cause I couldn't imagine being a virgin and getting beat for pleasure. Also I couldn't get past the bad writing. (ok I'll shut up now don't wanna cause a riot over the book )

It really is! I can't believe some of the differences!
  8. I can eat up some watermelon. I was thinking it was a slider, then all you people say you are getting full fast. I had a large hunk yesterday. I dunno...

    Substitute For Protein Shakes

You need to watch the soy protein. It isn't a good form of protein, its full of fillers. After surgery we need to concentrate on WHEY protein, that's the purest form. My doc says its Better than nothing but not to depend on it.

P90X? Mixed Martial Arts? Too Intense?

I wouldn't do crossfit till you can run a mile without dying lol. I tried it a couple months ago. And barfed. I'm not there yet. Getting there though. I have private training and taking cardio classes, hopefully by the end of the summer I'll have the endurance it takes!
  12. It' hard I have a gallon jug of spring water, I start every morning with water, drink it while I'm doing all my pills. I can't eat an early breakfast so I drink drink drink through my workouts, then quit, have breakfast wait a while then keep drinking. And do that all day. If I can get my gallon jug close to empty I'm happy. I probably succeed 3 days a week Getting it completely empty. Hopefully it cancels out the days I don't want to drink anything!
  13. My trainer told me to drink half my body weight. I never get in that much, I strive for a gallon a day. The 8x8 is the lowest recommended amount. When I go to the gym I alternate, elliptical, bike, treadmill. Then the other 2 days I have cardio classes with an ab workout at the end. Then if I'm feeling really froggy I go to boot camp on Saturday which kicks my ass!
  14. Also maybe switch up your cardio. Your body gets used to exercise and it doesn't Get as much of a workout. Try the bike or treadmill to switch it up.
  15. It will come off. My trainer told me the more water you drink the more comes out. So when I haven't lost a pound in the week, I will drink a gallon of water. Works every time! My friend has been low low carb (under 20) for months now, I have no idea how she does it!!!
  16. Sorry I reread and saw much cardio you are doing.
  17. How much are you working out? I wouldn't go that low on carbs if you are working out more than an hour a week. I do 5-6 hours a week, I do 700 calories a day, 80 oz of water, 70 proteins and 60 carbs and I have only stalled once. I lose 3 pounds a week consistently.
  18. Most have some sort of hair loss. Mine started falling out at 2 months, got extreme at 4, at 6 months now and it's still falling out, but it has slowed. Good luck I know it sucks. Use shampoo with Karatin it will help your new growth.
  19. Make sure you are drinking tons of water. Your body tends to hold onto water when you start exercising.

    Getting New Health Insurance Post-Op?

Wouldn't that be insurance fraud? I would be careful lying, if it comes out you could be liable to pay back everything the co. Paid on your behalf plus damages.

I was about 3 months out before I could enjoy spicy foods again. I don't really like hot hot stuff but really flavorful food. You will get there.
