Thanks so much for checking up on me! I check in every day but having nothing positive to post I just fade away. I had my *third* complete unfill last Tuesday. I was checked and my band has not slipped but it seems I have become VE R Y sensitive to fills. We are starting Monday to fill it again but we are going extra tiny this time. Office said this will be a chore for me ( and very expensive) but I really have no choice...this has to work. When the band is working it is great but on the flip side when it is not....! sorry to say I am falling back into bad habits again for comfort. Monday is a new day and I hope a new start on my road to sucess.

Just checking in...not a lot to yell with joy about. On the positive side the exercise is doing great but on the flip side the eating still sucks!! Still trying and will never give up. Counting the days until restriction!!

Well working with no restriction is really blowing me out of the tub! I am trying to drink all of my Water.. count all of my ww points to make myself accountable Try so very hard to stay away from chocolate..my drug of choice My gole is to lose the next five pounds I managed to find:cursing:

Thanks so much for the welcome!! Lisa..I can feel your pain. I was like you filled tight but my dr. took everything out. I had to wait 6 weeks then try to refill. I was up to 2 then had to have everything taken out again because of the same tightness. They are slowly filling it again but in the mean time I have found my bad habits due to no restriction, christmas holidays and just plan depression.I am an intelligent person who knows what to do to control these eating emotions so it is baby steps and a big thank you for any support you can throw my way.

Hello ladies...my name is Scarlet ...may I join your group? I feel like such a loser(not in a good way) and wonder if I can get my act back on track again. I will try with small baby steps and check in often to find my way. I had my surgery March 07 lost 70 pounds, not very steller but I was happy. Then 08 was a bad year with a 5 month platue and then a tight fill which brought on 2 complete unfills. I am just hanging on by a thread but will not give up!

Thanks so much for your responce!! This is what I am doing keeping a handle on the problem. I go again next week for a follow up. Guess I just thought with all of these bands in this site maybe someone else might have run into this. Thanks for the time to respond!!

I have posted 2 other times about port infections but no one has answered me!! Surely someone has had or heard of this problem. I have an infection on the port incision which I got about 2 weeks out. It started the day after the nurse took the strips off. It got very sore and angry red, hot to the touch. It was about 1 inch around the whole incision. I went back to the doctor and he cut open the edge to cut a stitch that was poking out. I am finishing my third antibiotic. I think it is looking better but still sore and red.. I KNOW I did not do this to myself because I was very careful to keep everything clean. I asked my doctor what caused this and he kinda hummed around with no answer. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what caused this? Thanks...

Thanks Tammy... Got lots of drugs today from the doctor so hopfully things will be back on track again. From the lack of comments from others I guess this is a rare thing to get:sick

Well can I be so lucky?? *NOT* I have an infection in my port!! It so hurts!! I went to the doctor last Thursday for my check up and she took off the little strips which did not come off. She said my skin was a little red from the strips but no big deal. Well the next day it was bright red around the port incision and you can see a stitch poking out. They wanted me to come back in Friday but I could not make it, it is over an hour one way. I am on major antibiotics and going back Monday so they can dig what ever is in there out.:girl_hug: Kinda mad because I was doing so good eating most everything except hamburger and steak with ease and really feeling excited about my band. Anyone else hear of this and what did they do?

I am laughing here because that is what I did!! I went for my 2 week follow up and the nutrionist was surprised at how good I was doing. I am eating a lot more along then their chart. I told her I hated protein drinks they made me puke so I had to experiment to keep my strength up. I told her I am not stupid and would not do anything to hurt my band but protein food comes first in my book. Anyway she moved my fill up 2 weeks...yippy skippy...it is April 18th. I had lost 10 pounds since surgery day,actually it is 11 neeked, lol. Not bad in my book.
