Hello Everyone,

So today I had my first consultation & I am feeling very discouraged....I mentioned to the Doctor that I was interested in getting the Lap band instead of the sleeve or GBP, I did not feel much support from the doctor about my decision I feel like she just gave negative feedback about the Lap band, and was saying how the Lap band did not have a huge success rate ...

Has anyone experienced anything like this & if so what is your suggestion.

Most Dr's prefer what they are specialized in, My Dr which is DR Billy will tell you the pros and cons of both and he may suggest one of the surgeries. They suggested gastric bypass but i did the band for alot of reasons. I also did research on both surgeries. Look at another Dr that will offer support. We have support meeting every month. You should try Premier Protein drinks or labrada

Allie, what are you eating? are you journaling the food you eat anc ounting calories?

Drink Water eat a Jello sugar free, or have another shake

Walking helps, it gets better day by day

Are you tracking your calories? Are you trying to drink 64 oz of Water a day?

Have you talked to your dietician or nutricionist

How many calories are you having thru out the day

What kind of exercises are you doing.

I think you could block them

If you havent ate and your throwing up like that go to the emergency room and call your surgeon. That don't look normal

What surgery are you getting? I think you should ask your Dr instead of the nurse

Well if your getting the band its better you get used to stop drinking soda. I heard it increases the complications of corrosion on the band, not sure if its true but i heard here.

Maybe your body dont know how to process the stuff in the soda

That is so awesome! Congrats on the 200lbs weight loss. I've lost 110lbs and would like to lose 90 more but havent been able too. Your a big motivation. Could you tell me how you did it?

Labrada and Premier are the best ones i have had compared to all the ones out there.

Good Job on the weight loss. You should call the dr and tell him about your situation. Maybe he will give you a fill. Good luck.
