    How I Broke My Stall

  2. Broke the Stall!!!

  3. Very inspirational! I think I will set my self a goal of getting into mine too. Although I was just 45 pounds lighter than now. I wasn't thin at all. You look so beautiful and joyful!
  4. Lost 0.1 pound. Haha it's probably nothing but it made me so happy. I hadn't lost anything in 5 days.

  5. I'm having one of those terribly boring days at work!!! Somebody shoot me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Depressed 2 months post op

Hey sweetie, cheer up, change your habits and definitevely kick out the alcohol. It really isn't good for your tiny little stomach. I suggest you keep a food diary and write EVERYTHING on it, even the stuff you shouldn't have had. Try to switch up a few things here and there (things you are permitted to eat), avoid carbs. Are you exercising? Try walking. The endorphins are sure to cheer you up and the weight will start coming off. you can do it. YOU ARE WORTH IT.
  8. Another day of no loss... What can I do? Please help. I'm two weeks out and I haven't lost a pound in like 4 days.

  9. Any sleevers in Miami want to start a support group???

  10. I hate yogurt. It takes me like an hour to eat the whole thing. =S

  11. How are you feeling so far?

    One week post-op update

That's awesome Nancy! I'm on week 2, maybe we can be buddies and help each other out. I lost 9.8 my first week. Woo-hoo! Don't you just love your sleeve?
  13. Happy Losing Wheetsin!

  14. Lost only 2 pounds week 2, but heck, I'll take them and run with them.

  15. Thanks DivaDee! =) I lost 9.8 pounds the first week and just figured I'd be like all the people on youtube and lose 5-7 the second week. I am doing everything correctly so I guess I'll just have to wait. I haven't started exercising because one of my "wounds" hasn't healed completely, but I will next week and I hope that makes a difference. How far ahead are you?
  16. Great job! What an inspiration!!
  17. Oh my Gosh! This forum is a life saver =) I was so sad this morning, this is my second week post op and I've done everything correctly and have only lost 2 pounds this week. I'll take the two pounds, don't get me wrong, but I've been watching youtube videos and everyone seems to lose around 6-8 the second week. =( I hope I do start losing some serious weight this next week.
  18. I had a band done 10 years ago and just got sleeved (10 days ago). My doctor informed me there was a lot of fybrosis (I think that's what it is called) but he successfully removed the band and got the sleeve done. He did the leak test during the operation So far, there hasn't been any problem at all. My doctor gave me a week and 3 days of clear or almost clear liquid diet. I just started eating Beans, egg, yogurt, etc. So far it's been great. I do take esoprax every morning to avoid reflux, etc. My best advice to you would be: this is something you are doing to yourself, it's not a favor the doctor is doing for you, it's your life, plus it's not free. So talk to other people your doctor has "revised" or get a doctor that makes you feel better. In the end, it is your precious life that's at stake. Hope it helps, Maraki

  22. Hello Florida Sleevers! I just got sleeved one week ago, I started at 297.4 and so far I am down 9.8 pounds. Yay! I'm glad to have found this place and to find other sleevers. Support is crucial. Does anyone know of any in-person support groups in the Miami area?
