  1. I would go back and have them check it out again. Its not normal to vomit. Is it constant or sometimes. After certain foods or on all foods.
  2. Have you thought about calling others. I would. I dont know what their theory would be unless they still consider 30 more of a risk when going to sleep. I am sure there is some surgeon out there that would be willing to do it for you. My doctor is happy with me at 175 and told me only to go to 170 I dont know if I want that number but she said that I can live with that and maintain it. Im almost 50 so I dont care to be a tooth pick. I wish you luck on finding a surgeon. It's really up to you on how much more weight you want to lose but if that is what they are asking then maybe try. Its not impossible to lose 40 more. You can do it.
  3. Apple juice, gatorade, jello to name a few.
  4. Yeah it really irritated me too but I think it helped me as well. It does hurt but that nerve goes all the way from the stomach up over the left shoulder and to the brain. Once you get a couple fills it might stop hurting because the band will be putting pressure on it. I know mine hurt a whole year then once I got two fills it stopped.
  5. Probably too tight
  6. Maddy for some it is a sign to stop eating. Its putting pressure on that nerve. That is your signal to stop eating. Some have it continuos. It can be annoying but none the less it is the band pressing on the nerve.
  7. Just because you can eat two tacos why are you? Its not going to stop you from eating two tacos I dont care if your filled to the brim. It's up to you to push away after just one. Like someone else said its not going to control how much it just controls your hunger. I could probably eat ten tacos if I wanted them but I dont eat them or fast food.
  8. Some people always have that shoulder pain. Its the band pressing on your nerve. I had it until I got my first fill a year later.
  9. You're not to tight. Now is the time to learn to eat with your band. It is doing what it is supposed to do. You have to learn now to work with it and not fight against it
  10. If you're having chest pain why wouldnt you call your doctor?
  11. I dont see why not if you havent had surgery yet but are you being treated for it. You dont want to go in to surgery with an infection.
  12. I was told if you get a stomach flu your supposed to get an unfill. Thats just my doctor. I would have them check it out though.
  13. I dont think so. Its more vomiting then anything that causes slippage. I would get some cough syrup from your doctor though.
  14. And I get called rude lmao. Such an emotional bunch of women. You all must be pmsing lmao. Go eat some carbs you will feel better lmao.
  15. Your swollen, bloated, healing its normal.
  16. I have lost my nurse practitioner she weighs 112 pounds. I wouldnt want to carry her around either lol
  17. I dont drink soda and too was told not too. It's not worth the risk to me.
  18. Definitely will pray for you. These things are normal that you are thinking but you will do great. No worries think about how great you will look by next year this time.
  19. Totally a big difference in your total appearance. Keep up the good work. It will come.
  20. Good for you CG. That is a great accomplishment. We dont realize how much that kind of thing makes a difference. It's a great NSV to me to hear that from you.
  21. Isnt it great to realize just that little thing. I use to take five medications for my stomach and now I only take prilosec until I have my gallbladder out Dec 11th.
  22. Donna dont feel bad for not exercising. I have arthritis everywhere and if I exercise even walk I pay for it. I have lost well with no exercise. I may have lost faster but I do not in one bit feel bad about not exercising. Some people just have issues and can't. Yes we abused our bodies with the weight. I pay for even at my weight now but it happens. Hang in there, go get some unfill and see but chicken doesnt work for me in any way shape or form and I have way less in my band then you do.
  23. You need at least 90 grams of protein a day. Your body has to adjust to the drastic deprivation in calories. We all went from about 3,000 calories a day to under 1,000. Once your body realizes its not starving anymore you will lose. I know its depressing as hell but it will happen you have to just be patient. Rather stall now then be going good and then stall for weeks or months sometimes. 17lbs in four weeks is great. Dont get upset just keep doing what you are doing and try to eat more protein and the only carbs that you eat right now is vegetables and fruit only and if you can go without the fruit the better.
  24. Well you are still healing. Protein is important for weight loss. What are you eating in a day
