I meant to comment on it but got distracted doing god knows what. Needless to say, I cannot locate the original post. So lets start a new one!!
I can't wait to wear shorts and a tank top just because - and feel comfortable in them.
I can't wait to fit into a normal sized....well....anything!
I can't wait until my outside awesomeness matches my inside awesomeness.
I can't wait until painting my toes is not a series of contortionist moves that would rival Cirque Du Soilei routines.
I can't wait to be able to hug me knees.
I can't wait to weigh less than my husband.
I can't wait to share clothes with my sister - she's a size 4 :/
I can't wait to get my whole arm tattooed - not just my forearm because I HATE my upper arm largeness.
I can't wait to do a 10K, like for real.
I can't until a short haircut does not make me look like Rosie O'Donnell (sorry Rosie)
I can't until I am able to be "more adventurous" in the bedroom *wink*

I can't wait to throw anything on in the closet and not worry... Does this still fit? Or try to stretch my shirts some before putting them on so that you can't see how high my pants go up on my stomach.
I also can't wait to get more tattoos either. I have my whole right lower leg done as part on a leg sleeve but have not moved too my thigh because of being embarrassed of my weight. I also can't wait to show of my tattoos. I'm so shy about them now because I think people will say "look at that fat chicks tattoos." I love my tattoos but hide due to my weight. I can't wait to be free of my fears.

Yeah using a beach towel to wrap me up in is not cute. And the scale thing - totally!

I can't wait... To wrap a normal size bath towel all the way around me and tuck it in.

See my feet, cross my legs, buy normal clothes without paying astronomical prices (adios Lane Bryant & Avenue)......oh the list goes on & on & on.......

Can't wait to go to a ball game without stressing about the size of the seat.

Also remember, people in other countries aren't alwasy fond of Americans. My husband spent a great deal of time over there and was treated badly by many once they discovered that he was American. Keep your head up, you will be home soon. You are doing what is best for you!

I tried on all of my pants and skirts last night. Five pair are going away because they are too big and 3 pair are being returned because I never wore them.
Next goals......sizes in the teens and onederland!!

Yes, I agree with every reply. I'm grateful to you guys for hearing me out. I think I'm just not going to stress about it. I'm not going to be around anyone that makes me doubt myself and I know that at 400lbs or 100lbs, I'm amazing and if he doesn't, his fcking loss.

So I have thought and thought about what to say to you. My advise will be a little altered as I am married and I did not want to post to come off sounding like an after school special - so here it goes!
If he is not mature enough and secure enough in his own manhood to ask you out now than he is not worth your time and does love you the way you love him.
I am 8 months post op and just celebrated two milestones. I lost over a hundred and met my personal goal. I am happily married for 10 years and for the first time in our relationship I am the skinny one. Our relationship has changed so much this past year and all for the better. I understand the feeling of well if he can accept me this way then he must really love me. I have had those thoughts many times. I often felt my hubby deserved someone thinner and better looking, but while thinking about responding to your post I realized my husband loves the inner me. He was mature enough to look past my wrapper and see the inner me.
Now that my outer me is not so squishy I have confidence like you would not believe. I have always been a confident woman, but this took it to a whole new level. You are going to have men hit on you like crazy now and what is important to realize is that although they may like the new package you are presenting none of that matters. For a relationship to be strong it has to be about more than the just the physical attraction.
I have wondered many times is this person only talking to me because I am skinny - maybe so. Once I get to know them I show them the before pictures!
Bottom line after you start losing weight and trying on new clothes and feeling good - this boy will not be able to keep up!

Welcome! Congratulations on your little one. I too was looking into the surgery and got pregnant instead. Best thing ever. You sound like a great uplifting person and I know you're going to do great in your journey!

Well welcome to your new life. Thank you to your family for serving our country! I know it is a family effort.
Trust when I say this is not the lazy person way of losing weight. You have to follow through so much. It will be a life changing experience and will test your physical an mentally abilities many many times.
I had surgery due to medication that was making me gain weight. I could not get off the medication unless I lost weight and hard to lose weight when you are always hungry.
People who are naturally skinny do jot understand the struggles. Your sister will get on board when she sees the results, the new you, and how hard this can be.
This is a great board and has lots of support and honest feedback.

Some of my family and friends tried to discourage me from having it done. But I can say without a doubt that I made the decision. ME! Once that was done I knew what I wanted. So you need to decide. Your friends and family need to trust your decision. My mom told me that it just didn't seem natural...I said mom...neither is a hysterectomy but people do it all the time. Trust your inner voice and go with it. Be proud of your choice and stay positive. This is your journey not any one else's. My surgery date is April 18th!!! I can't wait. Good luck to you!
