    Looks like we got some answers! I tried not buying chips for the house, but I feel bad cause my kids like them every now and then and it's not their fault they are like a drug to me LOL!
  4. Okay so I've lost 40 pounds so far, but I have been stuck at the same weight for 2 weeks now! I decided to write down everything I was eating and their calories and WOW! 1,000 calories isn't much! I must have been eating a lot more, I feel restriction but I guess not enough? I'm going to stick to this for atleast a week and see if I notice a difference. Question is how do you all do it on 1,000 calories per day? I so thought I was eating around that amount until I started to really count them This is going to be difficult! It's only 6pm and I've had 900 calories so far. I try not to eat past 6 anyways, but I'm hungry now... Any feedback is greatly appreciated! This is what I've had today: Breakfast- Jay Robb shake 110 W/fruit 30 Like 2 strawberries and 2 slices of small bananas (frozen) Snack- Almonds pack 100 Lunch- turkey and ham sandwich 250 (on the wheat thin bread) Wheat thins 120 Dinner- Rotisserie chicken 180 (6ounces) Green Beans and potatoes 130 (frozen steamfresh) Am I just eating the wrong foods?
  5. cream of weat with a little bit on lite pancake syrup in it! I loved it! LOL, mashed potatoes from every single place that sells them, broccoli and cheese soup from subway. I think I even ate the taco meat, cheese and hot sauce out of a taco bell taco. OMG I'm getting hungry now!

    I hope I get to were I have to eat all proteins first before I get full! Lol...you're right i need to cut some of those bad carbs out Anyone else only have 1000 calories a day? What does ur menu look like?

    Thanks for your response, that's the thing I NEED to excercise :/ I just do a mile on the treadmill, but very moderate. I 'll have to up that time and speed! Lol

    How many calories do you have a day? How much are we suppose to have? I used one of those online calorie calculator and it says I should have like 2400 a day! To loose 2 pounds a week, yeah right! I doubt I would loose anything, I would gain
  9. I had a fill yesterday of .6 with a total of 5.5 and I definitely feel different! I know it's probably too soon to tell, but all the other times when I had fills I felt the same. Bad thing is I had to learn the hard way! I was on liquids yesterday and suppose to be on liquids/soft foods today and I ate some chicken! OMG! this was my 2nd stuck episode and it was very bad....I know it is all my fault and I don't know why I don't listen...I'm guessing since the first few fills I was able to eat on the 2nd day, so I tried it. What should I do? I feel like I irritated my bad, since some of it came back up, well mostly slime..Sorry for the TMI! I'm assuming liquids for the next 2 days? Also how many CC's do u have and how long did it take u to get there? I feel like I jumped up to 5 so quickly, in 2 months...Thanks!

    Thank you for replying, so far I haven't had anything that can possibly get stuck. I made a chicken veggie Soup and have been have that today. I counted my calories for today and i'm still a bit over 1,000, is that too much? I'm actually hungry right now, but don't want to eat more than I should.

  12. I don't see a problem with having a margarita or 2, but that's just me. The girls above that gave you that advice have lost LOTS of weight! I hope to be there one day, but I am guilty of putting empty calories in my body.

    Band failure?

    A friend of mine went through something similar, her nurses kept saying that the 700 cal a day were perfect and that they didn't know why she wasn't loosing weight,,,She finally switched Dr's and they immediatley told her to increase to 1000-1200 cal a day and to keep track of everything she ate and BOOM! She lost a total of 80 pounds in like 6 months with her new Dr. I'm still so new to this so I can't really relate to any of it yet, but sounds like maybe you need more calories like the previous posters suggested. Good Luck on whatever you decide to do.

    Throw away those SCALES!

    I weigh myself every Monday and sometimes I sneak in another weigh in during the week and I love it! Even if I were to gain a pound it helps me to improve my eating habits. I agree that reading to much into the numbers can drive u crazy though! LOL...

    What am I doing wrong?

    I agree with previous poster, you are not eating enough! My Dr has also said to NOT go under 1000 cal per day, 800 on some days is okay. Sounds to me like your metabolism has slowed down. Are you not hungry? Or are you trying to just follow their guidlines on the calorie amount? I know we are suppose to do 3 meals a day, but that just does not work for me. I do small 6 meals, okay well maybe they are not MEALS but I eat something every 2-3 hours. Hang in there, it's so worth it Congrats on the 25 pounds lost!!!
  17. I'm having such a difficult time getting in all the Protein I need, especially since I don't know what to eat for Breakfast. I can only do the shakes so often, sometimes I just want some food instead of a shake. Any ideas? What do you have for breakfast? Thanks!!

  20. So I went for my second fill this past Monday, I should have a total of 4.4cc's in a 10 cc band. I noticed I felt a weird like Pop feeling when she filled it, and now I'm worried she made a hole in the band! I feel a lot hungrier and I feel like I can eat a lot faster than before. Am I over reacting? The nurse did say it might take a week or 2 to feel a difference but she didn't say I was going to eat more. I am going to call them on Monday and ask if I can be seen. I'm not suppose to go back until another 3 weeks, but i'm so scared to gain any weight back mainly because I don't want to feel discouraged. Thanks everyone!

I also go to True Results, call and ask to speak to a nurse ask for Ada and let her know you are concerned in waiting this long for a fill and you would like to be seen asap. they can schedule you in as soon as that same day. I think it's BS that they are making you wait that long, yes you missed your appt, IT happens. GL!
