Great news! My surgeon's office called today to schedule my surgery! Good thing I didn't wait on her...I had the pleasure of telling her "No thanks, I was sleeved on 10/14" pa-thet-ic! So glad I took matters into my own hands.

Wow, 3 week surgeriversary and down a total of 39 pounds since I started this journey...it's really happening!

Thanks for the birthday wishes! Pre-op is going better than I expected (maybe I'm not doing something right, ha ha) I do miss crunching (like pretzels or peanuts, etc) though. I will absolutely 100% be having a margarita tonight with my sister!

Well, I got DENIED by my insurance company. Apparently not enough documentation from 6 mo PSWL. Gathering my thoughts. Thinking of Mexico.

Going to a water park today, thinking I'm going to take lots of pictures to memorialize my final fat days. When we go on our annual trip next year, can't wait to see the difference in pictures! (Still impatiently waiting for insurance approval)

The bank teller said "4 months til Christmas" today, I almost blurted out, "I'll be sleeved & losing weight by then" to a perfect stranger. I tell you I have a one track mind with this VSG coming up!

Final physician supv weight loss appointment today! I'm so excited I'm walking the package of info from my dr to the surgeons office immediately after. Then I wait for ins approval. That makes me nervous!
