  1. I pre-warned my boyfriend, sister and mother. lol I was like "Beware of my mood after surgery... i will either be bitchy or crying all the time.. please just go with the flow." I told my bf i will repay him with amazing sex lol, i promised my sister that i wont wear her clothes once i reach her size and when i start shopping she can have some freebies and mom gets a free vacation lol. We have to remember that our main supporters are going through this as well. We can not be selfish.

Getting sleeved in 9 days!!!! YA!!!!!!!!

  2. My liquid diet is weird:

1 Slim fast shake (Optima or regular) For Breakfast & lunch and for dinner 3oz of Protein (fish or meat) with veggies.

and 2 Snacks per day which consists of: 6oz skim milk, 1 small fruit, 1 cup of Tomato ir V8 juice, fat free yogurt, fat free Jello, 1 cup of veggies/ salad or 1/3 of cottage cheese....

And stay hydrated with Water, Crystal Light & Diet Snapple.

A lot of diets are usually strictly liquids. I'm not complaining though. I just feel a little unprepared.

  3. Not wanting to go out.

Embarrassed to eat in front of people.

    Uncomfortable while taking public transportation

    My bf's friends skinny girlfriends

    Feeling judged for being fat

No space in desk when i used to go to school

Scared to get pregoo and look like a whale and put me and the baby at risk

Not want to show Public affection towards by bf

Feeling uncomfortable while getting a pedicure.

Hate shopping... can never find anything nice to wear or if i go to a specific place they don't have my size

My bf checkin out girls about 50-100lbs light than me

Embarrassed to put current pics on FB/Instagram

    Dr. telling me i'm pre-diabetic

More pics of my bf, mom, sis dogs, friends then myself on my phone

I can go for days... and now that i finally have a surgery date, this is the first time I actually can admit to all this.

This felt good. I can't wait to look back and read it months after surgery!

  4. Hey everyone! I have been snooping on the forum for a while, but have never posted. My date is set for March 19th as well. I start the preop diet tomorrow. I'm excited & nervous. I don't have much support for this decision, so that is scary. Good luck everyone!

I'll support you and so will everyone else on this forum. My surgery is March 19th too... I an anxious terrified and excited.

  5. Its a violation. Yesterday my boss was on the phone telling one of the nurses in my job how i will be out for a couple of days and how i'm having reconstruction done and how great i am going to look and how i should meet their friend Judy who looks great after surgery... I WAS MORTIFIED because we just moved into a new office space where my dept intake shares the office with the finance dept and they are too dam quiet... I was hoping now one noticed how loud she was but an hour later one of the girls were asking what was happening and why i would be out?? NOSSEYYY!!!!

  6. GIRL!!! My friend did they same thing and she kept going and going and now she can't lose any weight. She is 9 months post-op and barley 45lbs down. Please no more. Remember this is a sacrafice. your children love you... find a way to make them something you can eat or have a family or friend take them or eat with them or make the food so you won't even have to smell it. Please don't do what my friend did. We are all here to support you. Take another sip of your margarita... taste it well... and don't do it until your cleared for all of that. Remember we are ALL here for you. Good Luck... :D

  7. Powerade Zero helps. I froze it and ate it like an icee(made me pretty full) strawberry, Orange, Lemon Lime were my favorites. sugar free Popsicles, yeah, I stocked up on those. Crystal Light is good too. Mio. Also Dasani has the flavor drops too, they have a pineapple coconut (only flavor I tried) & I'm not a fan of piña coladas but it was really good ice cold. For broth - I recently just found one I liked called Herb Ox (Beef and Chicken) taste really good. (beef if high in sodium though*) still the best I've found. Not a fan of Jello, but did try consume some. Most people say 1-3 days are the hardest. However, I breezed through those and had a rough night the fourth night. Best Protein I found was Muscle Milk Light (30g of protein) & I also used Body Fortress, relatively cheaper than the ready made ones and with skim milk tastes pretty good especially when blended with ice. Almost like a milk shake and made me feel full. Throughout it all though, I only remained full for a short period but I think a lot of it was head hunger and needing to chew something.

Thank you so much... How was your surgery post-op? How do you feel?
