Thank you so much for the encouragement, I truly love your post!

I am just done with the "flip-n" scale! I am 3 months today post op, I have not lost any weight since week 9! In all reality the scale has only moved 3 times since my surgery date, I have never lost on a weekly basis, I'm down 25 pounds, I'm pretty much feeling as though this is it for my weight loss!

My Insurance required 6 months (consecutive) of dietician monitoring so for me, first visit with the doctor was on 06/29/11 and my surgery was on 12/21/11.

Thank you all, I've had a very easy recovery, I even asked my doctor if this was " the calm before the storm?" and I was told no and that I was just one of the people who have done exceptionally well, praise God!

As I sit here with my nerves out of control waiting to be called back for surgery, i will have to say that your story has helped calm my nerves, thank you!!

To shoppingbeemom, after reading your post, I would like for you to know that it helped me to calm down, or at least for now. The one thing that did it for me was the following statement "I asked myself how did I want to live the rest of my life". This is so true, thank you, I will try to remind myself of this on surgery day, 12/21/11.

I went for my 6th month visit today @ 11:30 was approved by 4:00. My date is set for 12-21-11, it does not seem real!!
