Well VST family, I had my surgery on Tuesday. Praise God things are going so well. My family is so super duper supportive! Love, love, love them. I'll keep you updated on my progress.

Well...the heat is on. The scheduling coordinator just called and told me I need to be at the hospital at 5:45 tomorrow morning. I am sooo excited, nervous, anxious with just a twinge of being scared...just a twinge. But I am oh so ready for this!!!

This has been the longest day. I had my PAT today - EKG, blood work, met with the anesthesiologist, had blood work done and met with my surgeon. Calgon take me away!

When you did your protein shakes did you do 100% whey protein isolate? I'm trying to find a place to buy the protein shake mix. I know they have places on this site but I wanted to compare their prices with GNC or the Vitamin Shoppe. Everything seems to be a blend. I remember the nutritionist saying whey protein should be the very first ingredient.

Day 2 of the liquid diet. Slim Fast's creamy milk chocolate is my new best friend.

Hi Friends! Hope you're all having a great day! Well...today I started my liquid diet (Slim Fast). So far so good. I know this may sound crazy but I couldn't wait to start it. After this it's off to surgery (9/20).
