Today I'm 225.8lbs. Before my sleeve I was 269. I was so frustrated before my surgery and I just knew that nothing I did was working and soon I'd be over 300lbs. I'm so thankful for my best friend who introduced me to this process and who's lost a great deal of weight herself. I'm 225.8 and used to be 269.... wow...

I had my first real battle with intolerance to food the other day. I had one tiny bite of a Nature Vally bar w/ Almonds and almost immediately it came back up. I was at work and had to run, run RUN to the ladies room! I am guessing Almonds will not be high on my list of snack foods.

I've seen enough posts about how jumbled the screens are making it hard to reply. Are the powers that be working on this issue?

Told my honey if I reach my Christmas goal before the due date, he'll have to buy me a Kindle Fire. I want one so bad! Anyone else hoping for one special gift this year?

Surgery 6 weeks ago today! It's still so surreal...the whole taking out 85% of my stomach thing... It still hasn't hit me that this is a life change and I will never go back to eating like how I did before. But when will it start becoming comfortable to eat? I still feel like whenever I eat anything I have to get up the nerve to do it because of the discomfort I feel as its going down. Am I possibly eating too fast still?
