  1. I'd personally prefer a 24/7 chat. I work strange hours and would not always be able to participate at "normal" chat times. And since I rarely get to eat anymore I might as well chat at 2AM if anyone else is up!!!
  2. Thanks for replying. I'm still feeling quite nauseated today, even tho the horrible FULL, bloated feeling from the Cream of Wheat is gone. I'm sticking to chicken and/or beef broth and runny yogurt today, along with part of a protein-fortified Slim Fast, but still the nausea! I'm sipping Crystal Light all day to keep from becoming dehydrated. Is nausea "normal" the first week after surgery? Also a bit of, er, diarrhea.......sorry.............Is this all just my body making adjustments? Nothing was removed....just rearranged... so I didn't think it would need such adjustments. Must be a wrong assumption!! Let me know what you (or anyone else) thinks!
  3. I agree!! We need someone with your experience posting here! And, being a man myself, I'm glad to see another guy out there, too!!! Usually some different stories with weight loss with men than women, so it'll be interesting to keep up with everybody and support each other. Everybody have a GREAT day!!!!
  4. I think this is going to be a GREAT website!! It's new, so not many people have visited yet, but I think it's awesome. SO much easier to peruse than some others that aren't categorized. Tell your friends about it and let's get it going so we can help others who have been banded or are thinking about it......
  5. Hi, everybody! I was just banded last Thursday in Azle, Texas. That's just a bit west of Ft. Worth. Had to stay in the hospital an extra day, but feeling much better now and already back to work. Had some trouble with runny Cream of Wheat going down last night, but survived my first scary incident! Will stick to what works best for now. LOVE this website with the categories. So many others are too difficult since you have to look through SO much to find the subject you want. Tell your friends!! Anyone else from Texas in here??????
