  1. Yes, I have sleep apena and so does my husband. Yes, you need the machine with you at the hosptial. I have been diagnosed for over a year and half now, husband has been longer. You wont regret the machine. It makes a world of difference in how you feel. You dont realize how bad you feel and the sleep issues you do have until you get real rest with the machine. I hope all goes well.
  2. Hi my name is Christy and I am scheduled for lapband sugery on September 19. I was totally at peace with this decision until this past week. I got really sick and missed three days of work I was on the first week of the preop diet and it kicked my booty. I cant seem to find a good balance that isnt wrecking havoc on my blood sugar and blood pressure too. On top of all of this I have an inner ear infection and had to go back to the Dr. for the third time. As tough as the first week of preop diet was, I am dreading the 2nd week of the preop diet as it is liquids. I am having serious doubts and so worriead about going through with this. I have however already lost 11 pounds on my own. Yay me!
  3. Thank you all for your replies. I am excited, but so very nervous too. We have already cut out soda. Big step for both of us. He already drinks lots of water. I am learning to. We have cut down on our portions as well. I am strugging, worrying about how to manage us before/after the surgery and keeping things as normal as possible for our young child.
  4. HI there. I wish you the best in your journey. It sounds like you are doing well already. I am seeing the same surgeon as you you. What can you share with me?
