  1. Omg way to go!!! Such a difference it's amazing!
  2. Wow S2B!! 4 miles!!! Awesome job! I went on a 15min walk yesterday and came back in intense pain my tummy was killing me. Your doc said it was ok to be doing strength training? I'm restricted from anything but walking until i see him at 2 weeks post op. Glad your doing well, how is your Fluid Protein intake?
  3. Congrats to you too! Yeah I'm on full liquids my doc moved me to them 2nd day in hosp to see if i wouldn't throw it up... still did lol but now im fine with them just can't get a lot in, most i've had is on on my 5th day (today) 1/4 cup of tomato soup. before i could only get down 1/8 cup. How about you? And with fluids today i've gotten down almost a full water bottle (16 ounces) seems still like so little. hopefully soon enough i'll be able to drink more then one oz every 15 min.
  4. Yay congrats!!! Good luck with the rest of your journey!!
  5. So glad everything went well! I had the same thing with the anesthesia, had to stay an extra night in the hospital cause I couldn't keep anything down. Wishing you the best recovery!
  6. Aww man I didn't even notice this! I was sleeved on the 20th! How is it going??? Yesterday (day 4) was a little rough was concentrating too much on protein and ending up with a swollen sleeve and feeling totally bloated, today I'm taking the veteran's advice and not stressing, trying to concentrate on liquids and RELAX. Day 5 smooth sailing!
  7. Awesome Idea! I will definitely try this someday.
  8. Hey glad your surgery went well!! Well mines went great besides the two nights I spent in the hospital i had a bad reactions to the anesthesia well a normal one i'm guessing I was puking for a day and a half, couldn't keep anything down so i was on iv fluids until I left on Thursday. I'm still having a hard time getting my fluids and Protein in, I've prob had 2 cups fluids and 1oz Greek yogurt and that's staying home all day watching the clock and trying to sip an oz Atkins advantage all day long. i got down 7 ounces but the day is over and I only have gotten a minimal amounts of 20/60 grams of protein.. 16/64 oz of fluids... I'm getting stressed should i not be worrying about it at this time? Sleeve2B Hope all went well in Mexico!!
  9. kellogg's k2o protein water, 5grams of protein and tase great (kiwi strawberry), is this the correct kind of protein? I'd much rather drink this all day and get some additional protein then plain ole water.
  10. Thanks so much for all the great replies. I'm going to try the 16 oz bottle and wait 5 min minimum.
  11. So in the hospital i was told to drink the little 1 oz cup of water every fifteen minutes, is this the same for at home? Or can I sip on as much as i can get in throughout the day because I think waiting every fifteen minutes there would be no way for me to get all 64 ounces down. Or to even keep track of all that time during the day.
  12. Finally a Colorado group!
  13. My Surgery is today too!!! Wishing you the best of luck and a speedy recovery!!! And I too am soooo glad to be over this clear diet it was horrible! lol
  14. I can't wait to run!!! I can't wait to play in the Park with my son! I can't wait to shop anywhere and everywhere! I can't wait to stop feeling like everyone is staring at me because of my size! I can't wait to come out of hiding!!! lol And a million other things!!!!
  15. Wow you look Great! Congrats!
  16. Hi Sarah and Veronica! I'm 24 will be sleeved a week from today! I'm curious about the skin too, back when I was 17 or 18 looking into the surgery the doc had said since i was so young the skin should shrink up and there would not be a lot of sagging "elasticity" was the word he used, but it's been years! Hopefully we're still qualified as "young" lol
