Aint Settlin'

I have been struggling with weight my entire life. As a kid, my Mom had to buy me "chubby" jeans. I remember wanting to be able to wear the "slim" ones. I have an addiction to carbs that I've been in denial about for quite some time. Several years ago, I seriously considered gastric bypass surgery. I'm so glad I didn't do it. After dieting and regaining weight to my all-time-high of 271, I finally made an appointment with a surgeon's office to discuss my options. Lap-Band always seemed like the right choice for me since it is less invasive and less permanent than other procedures.
