About Me

  • Gender
    Female
I had my lapband surgury after a life changing accident where I gain 80lbs and ended in a very depressed stage. The lapband work very well for me, I lost 105lbs. But then I developed acid problems and was unalbe to eat anything solid, someday I couldn't even pass liquids. I had to have the lapband ajusted a few times. A few years back, a had to have the lapband reajusted the assisting Doctor seemed to have punchered the reciever. The lapband has not held liquids since, thererfore does not work anymore. I have gained a few lbs.
Now I am having sharp pains around the reciever. It seem to be getting worse, but the only thing my Doctor says is that he acids and gas. The biggest problem is the Doctor that preformed the surgury is in another country. At this piont I am not sure what i can do to have it removed. I am wondering if this is normal?
