  1. Happy 37th Birthday clariv0329!

  2. I was wondering if you know your having a plateau issue, and its not time for another fill. Should u go back to a full liquid diet like stage 1 to jump start some progress. I am excersing @ least 3x a week. Doing Turbo Jam, and walking when weather permits. I was just wondering if the scale gets stuck...How do we JUMP start the weight loss? Thanks, All information is appreciated! Connie
  3. Congrats on the band and yes those are the symptoms I had too.. I goes away day by day just keep drinking small sips and often. and u will notice the next day will get better and so on. Take care.. and Good Luck!
  4. I was baned on Oct 6th and today makes one week. The swelling went down but now I feel like fluids isnt keeping me full enough I am constantly drinking water and having yogurt and protein shakes but I feel like I am still hungry. I seen the dr. yesterday and told him. He said that was normal.. and he said he will see me in 4weeks for my first fill. What do u guys do when this happens.. how do you keep from being a starvin marvin! Thanks Connie
  5. Good Morning, I was banded October 6th in Wareham Ma. I am having no pain issues, except the gas feeling. I have been walking around and sipping Water and drinking my Protein shakes. I gained 6lb post surgery. Tell me, I wasn't in shock. I was feeling sad last nite. I guess b/c I was sore and gassy. I actually cried b/c I didn't know what to do with myself. Looking for some positive words! Thanks...

    P90x

I love p90x I am about 45 days into it! I am also drinking the shakeology which I love! its all natural and had great protein. I drink my shake at lunch time. I have to modify a few moves, but I am moving. I am not weighting myself for awhile b/c I don't want to get disappointed if the number doesn't move. I figure as long as I lose inches I cool with that.
  7. Hi my name is Connie, I am from Massachussetts and starting the road to lap band. I have a BMI of 42 and I am 35, the worst part is I am very short only 4' 9'' and I have PCOS. I have been dieting and working out for so long, the weight just never comes off , and if it does I plateau and it finds it way back to my body. I am using Wareham Surgical Associates for my procedure. I am going this week for my pre op testing, and I am every bit nervous about the procedure. I know i am making the right choice. I have been reading the posts on here and I finally decided to jump in and introduce myself. Looking forward to communicating and supporting all of our lap band friends.
