I got so mad with my scales!! I'm exactly the same - 3 week stall, then a measly 1 kilo (2.2lbs) in a whole week! I hope it kickstarts again soooon! I will resist the scales until next month.

Wow! I can't believe the difference in post-op care! I had my surgery on 6/29 in the USA. I went in Monday morning for surgery, had my leak test Tuesday morning, and was home by 4pm on Tuesday. The first few days home were tough for me, I wish the kept me in the hospital a few more days, but insurance wouldn't cover it. I'm als feeling fabulous now, down 24 lbs. including the 14 lost during my pre-op diet.

:scared0:I just cannot imagine having been well enough to go home the day after surgery; I was still on drips and oxygen!

I react badly to anaesthetic, and in fact in the early hours of the Wednesday (day after my op) I was heaving so much, I actually (sssshhhh) peed the bed :blushing::blushing: I was mortified, but the nurses were so nice, got me sorted in no time I could have gone home Friday I think, and I was raring to go on Saturday!

ohhhh nooo. I suppose it is something we will all face at some point. I hope you feel better now? Yoou would think chicken broth would be soooo innocuous, wouldn't you.
