  3. Hey girl! Where have you been? I hope you are doing okay. :)

  4. Hi Neil. Our facilitator was Bonnie, not Tim. We have 17 women. No men. :)

  5. Hi Gayle! I'm a former Idahoan, I hope you are doing great!

  6. 32 mile bike ride?! I'm so impressed!! I live in the most beautiful place to bike ride too, lots of people bike here, we even have the tour of California come though here. I would love to do something like that someday! You are an inspiration. :) Tanya

  7. I have my first appointment with my surgeon today!

  8. LOL! I am a lead worker in the training unit at the welfare department! I take the newbies and teach them how to do eligibility! Before my promotion I told people that my job was giving away the government's money, now I train other people how to do it!! Tanya :)

  9. Excuse me, 36 miles!!!!!!

  10. I have actually been enjoying the pre-op diet. Its do-able. I notice that when I feel like I need to eat that it's head hunger. If I concentrate on that for a minute it goes away. I've been averaging 1200 calories a day, i'm drinking my 64 oz of water, taking my vitamins. I have eliminated gum, straws, pasta/rice, peanut butter, drinking with meals and snacking. I'm really excited for this journey

  11. Oh, today we are going on a family bike ride. I hope I don't pop the tires! I haven't ridden a bike since 2004 when I was down about 80 lbs from where I am now. I did go buy a nice big seat, that's one thing I hate about riding bikes is my sore rear!

  12. Ok, Bike ride is complete. We biked 6 miles. I know that isn't a lot to the Lance Armstrong wannabees but it was a huge thing for me. I'm 306lbs for gosh sakes! I felt miserable the whole time and it took a while to cool off once I got home but now I feel great! I can't believe I did that. My husband, God bless him and his freaking skinny body, was very supportive and wanted to stay with me when I was struggling. I was a b***h because I was so miserable and embarassed abou...

  13. Had my surgeon appointment today and have some news! Watch my youtube update to find out how it went!

  14. I'll get my surgery date on Wednesday!!

  15. Yes, I did. I had Dr. Im. :)

  16. Hey Julie, congratulations on everything! I can't wait to hear how everything goes for you. You're gorgeous! Tanya

  17. Hey Julie, I'm so excited for you! I can't wait to hear your story! You're gorgeous too. :) Tanya

  18. Today it was in the 90's so after I finally got off work and went grocery shopping we packed up dinner and went to the river! We had a lovely picnic on the picnic tables and then a nice swim. I Swam against the current for about 20 minutes, it was so exhausting! But obviously great exercise!

  19. Excited to be meeting my in person support group tonight!

  20. I'm feeling extra great today! I'm in a good super good mood, have a ton of energy and i'm just happy. :) I think this pre-op diet, vitamins, water and exercise are finally starting to pay off!

  21. I get my sleeve today! I check in at the hospital at 12:30pm Pacific time. See you all on the other side!
