  7. @froufrou"u can help others" @majnoah my mouth is drooling after reading about the above foods. LOL If my DH was eating and sneaking the above - i would be furious too DH saying "OH Well" your emotions are just heightened right now". I've heard this from OP on an occasion - but in your case not applicable - he is putting his prob on you, putting it all on you. he was "good" in the past - past is behind him and you & me - hopefully he will do well in the future with his eating - butttt he should not eat bad foods at any time - whether he has surgery or not, he shouldn't throw temptation in your face. good luck on your journey kathy

  9. Dear Auntie Gigi? i've always preferred red over gray.!! great transformation/pic☺️ sorry about vomiting, nauseous problems with stomach etc. i don't think taking a vitamin has anything to do with a "cure" talk to your NUT again! feel better soon. kathy congrats
  10. @Sullie06 stop kicking yourself (you'll get black & blue!) you are doing everything correctly to get back on track. kudos for realizing you are in trouble - stopping before 10 lbs turns into 20, 30 etc logging everything you eat, counting calories, eating less, exercising, seeking support groups et al you must STOP eating incorrectly - go back to the olden days of smaller portions, less calories etc knowing the problem is half the solution,☺️ congrats on reaching GOAL earlier - i know you will get back their again!! good luck kathy
  11. @Mema-to4 welcome to the board i had my WLS (sleeve) when i was 57 years OLD, (one month shy of my b'day_ (fabulous fifties) Now i am 65 years young - fluctuating/maintaining/ups and downs - mainly resting at GOAL I hope you love/appreciate your sleeve as much as i do - good luck kathy
  12. @Laura7 reading, enjoying ,catching up with your story. one of my first NSV's was wrapping a bath towel around me. i wasn't expecting the towel to fit alllllllll the way around me, but it did!! One of many NSV's for you to look forward to. kathy keep up the great job congrats

  20. @Wanda247 "your the only one LOL" such a wise guy!!, but i guess you might be right!! yes we've lost our insulation - you at 30 lbs - i lost 105 lbs! never been cold from WLS. am i a freak that i don't feel cold PO? (hmmmm anyone be careful if you respond!) i saved money - i didn't have to buy long johns!! buy an electric blanket, - its as warm as you? good luck kathy
  21. @WLS4ME33 ?? I many/most of have tried WW, Nutri system, etc. pre-op i tried, tried and tried - lose, gain etc i heard some OP do it PO too continued good luck on your journey. kathy
  22. @Avery's Mom great NSV 86 lbs down - amazing!! you are aces!!!☺️ keep UP the good job, while the lbs go DOWN kathy
  23. @BrighterSide as OP have sad, "they" use to be hot (me too) now PO they are cold, lack of insulation makes total sense about feeling cold. what i never understood - is how OP say they are cold immediately PO? am i the only one that never felt cold after surgery?? weird!! kathy
  24. @Boldilocks wow, that's great - many OP have trouble drinking water. in my case i was told not to gulp for awhile (don't remember how long) double check with your NUT/doc, about "gulping", see what they say about drinking a few aches and pains, here and there do happen to some. I agree with OP that not giving you strong drugs was crazy!! (i'd like to see dr as a patient in pain, being told that he couldn't have more meds!) you deserve a hugeeeee pat on your back for standing up for yourself, having the WLS despite what husbands thoughts might have been. Kudos glad/surprised that hubby has been understanding and supportive. you are going through a specially hard time PO. Hope he will continue to change his tune. But i agree to be wary - whatever time period he is helpful, be grateful!! good luck with your new sleeve kathy good luck
  25. @Lolo 2020 hey bud ahhhhh onderland - i've been waiting for you - keep up the good work - you are on the road to success☺️ good luck kathy
