  5. @Erica517 i'm sorry you have had regain, very upsetting?! the above suggestions/posts from OP are all great, follow them to the tee and things/weight will gradually improve. The common phrase on the board is "Just Because You Can, Doesn't Mean You Should" (referring to over eating) Your stomach does not stretch a lot PO, this is a frequent discussion /debate - but i think the "doesn't" stretch wins!!! (per my doc and NUT), it might stretch a "teeny" bit, but not as much as you think I do understand "feeling sorry for oneself" - been there, done that!!! losing, gaining, up and down, mentally and physically draining you must move on - easier said then done, you can/will get back in the right daily rules/ habits - i know you will - i can see it in your eyes. get back to eating healthy, watching portions, drinking - before you know it, we'll see "less and less" of you.☺️ come back with more ??'s, for more info, OP experiences and support you will be successful once more good luck bud kathy
  6. @FatGuy5000 hey dude, you look great, that's all i have to say!!!? keep up the good job kathy
  7. @IWuzaFatDuck hi newbie consistency is the name of the game!!☺️ dr office - wearing similar/same clothes each time, sneakers/shoes you'll get one weight- compare that same weight every time you see doc do the same at home, wear same/similar clothes and only compare those #s on home scale do not compare home scale to docs - like comparing apples to oranges? good luck kathy
  8. @JoniR hi newbie☺️ Many moons ago, answer to above is yes it never occurred to me that having my hysterectomy would have any input on my weight loss. I'm still standing 7+ years PO - maintenance kathy
  9. @TheRealMeIsHere! boy oh boy, sure are nosey aren't you!? December 15, 2011 - 1rst day of my new improved life!! i admit that i rarely exercise! (honesty is good for the soul)!!! i don't measure my food. i eyeball - know my portions, so i continue to do well. i am in maintenance - up and down a few pounds. Even though i am doing great, i know i will have to continue to watch/be careful with the way i eat for the rest of my healthier, happier, longer life. it's not a sprint, it's a marathon!! I'm a winner!!? kathy

  19. @MeanSleevedMachine hey dude I remember you "I’m not perfect by any means" perfection is in the eye of the beholder i think you are aces!!☺️ i will always look up to you - i am 5 feet 3 in - compared to your 6"6 great pics, amazing weight loss glad your health issues have been corrected keep on doing what you are doing kathy congrats
  20. @SusieQ2019 hey bud greetings from Upstate, NY - Syracuse?️ speedy/good recovery kathy
  21. @wnusrt1 hey bud the answer to your question is yes!!! the most common reason for conversion is terrible/unbearable heartburn? you didn't mention if you have that problem? not pointing fingers, but have you totally been eating correctly? Portions esp. the sleeve only works with you, if you work with it. (saying this, and below with TLC) if you are getting the GB, thinking you might loose weight and keep it off/problem solved? not necessarily true you will loose the weight initially- but If you don't change your eating habits, you might gain again. eeeek Try and give the sleeve another chance - you might not have that much restriction now, but if you follow the rules of protein, water etc. you can't help but loose weight.☺️ do a liquid diet/protein shakes for awhile, this will give you a jump start in loosing more weight gradually go to soft - etc. i emphasize watch your portion sizes. i know my portion sizes were through the roof before sleeve (7+ years ago) lets meet for drinks, info - conversation, i'm buying, water of course? good luck☺️ kathy
  22. @Lelina what was the reason doc suggested sleeve over mini gastric bypass? it's always good to listen to your surgeon - butttt find answers to your questions before you make a major decision between surgeries. read up on the two (2) surgeries, talk to doc again, then you'll be more informed as to which WLS is better for you. At the end of the day, its your body and choice!☺️ knowledge is power!! good luck kathy
  23. @SusieQ2019 very exciting news!! you've probably been waiting a long time for date and WLS we'll be seeing "less and less" of you pretty soon!! lets meet for drinks PO - i'm buying - WATER of course!!? good luck speedy recovery kathy
  24. @deltagirl93 hey bud usually when someone says "too good to be true" ......... it is!!!? you are doing a lot of great things. cooking/eating healthy - good on the exercise too, down 136 lbs is wonderful. "When is it all going to start caving in or catching up with me? diet or count calories at some point to maintain or is this really my new life." good for you on looking out what "might" happen in the future. eating halfhaserdly (LOL MSP) might/will catch up with you sooner than later. you should/ need to watch your nutrition, portions closely, water intake, protein etc - as time passes, you can be a little lax, buttttt be careful. glad you doing so well in the present - gotta look towards the future too!! you'll be aces then also kathy congrats
  25. @Healthy_life2 oooooooh , beautiful pics don't really travel much if i had a pic to post it would me getting up to to get a glass of water few minutes later, walking to the bathroom remember, what goes in, must come out? kathy
