@@perforce when was your initial scheduled date?? that's great having surgery done earlier than expected usually goes the other way around since surgery is earlier than planned maybe you could brush up on more info you can never learn toooo much knowledge is power!!! maybe practice not drinking for 45-60 minutes after you eat don't drink through a meal!! (people have been shot for less) drink 64 oz of Water a day stop drinking soda many other rules too hopefully provided by your NUT if you don't want to do any of the above then the helllll with you watch out for those grand-hogs if you see them, does that mean you have 6 more month of success??? @@Fatty McFatster sorry you had problems with your band in my "biased" opinion - the sleeve is the greatest!!! having revision surgery shows your determination you are brave enough to go through MORE surgery you want to get it right/successful with weight loss you are starting all over most of the rules with lapband are same/similar to sleeve??? you are a winner, but i'll save you a seat on the "loosers" bench!!! good luck speedy recovery kathy

@@Tootsietoes i know, i know, stop yelling at me only kidding bud - i DID have a food funeral lite a crazy person doc didn't have me on a pre-diet i could have done it myself of course that would make too much sense so, i went crazy for those couple of weeks gained 2 lbs too!!! doc wasn't thrilled but he luckly proceeded with sleeve (i've heard some docs won't do WLS if you've gained, or didn't loose the amount they required) kathy

@@Jackiesleeved2015 i hated the powered protein mixed too drank them unwillingly for one day then i started drinking the premixed bottle protein shakes- delicious GNC Lean shake 25 gr protein (other brands too) 170 calories i luv the swiss chocolate yum yum yum nice and easy don't have to use blender or shaker (i'm "kindof lazy!!!) LOL it "might" be easier for you to drink and keep it down, no gagging this works for ME hopefully you too try it - what could it hurt??? good luck bud kathy

@@Sleeved Nurse no preggo here LOL 1 daughter and 3 grand-kids i'm 61!!! there is a special pregnancy board that can help you with many questions http://www.bariatricpal.com/forum/427-pregnancy-with-gastric-sleeve-surgery/ from what i have heard you are not supposed to have a baby for 2 years after surgery that doesn't count adoption:lol: sorry for your miscarriages since you've lost so much weight i "think" don't know for sure but i think other people have said it's easier to get pregnant since they have lost so much weight i think, i think - not medical person here you could ask your doc definitely check out the pregnancy board good luck kathy

@@AvaFern i hope you know i really do love you but i busted a gut reading one part of your response 3 different scales are you kidding me LOL the initial scale you weighed on with surgery is great -go with that one the second scale with cute funny little measurement - go with that one the third scale that works with MFP - go with that one eeeny, meeeny, mynee, mo which scale will i use for my toe?? LOL i would go with the first scale (that's me) you started on that scale - stick with it i'm really not laughing at you but i'm laughing at you/with you!!! giving you a big smile took an extra silly pill instead of my vitamins!!! good luck kiddo you must be doing something right since you are at GOAL down 111 lbs!!!! keep up your good work i know you will!! still friends kathy

@@mcp_vsg i asked doc if i needed pre-op diet he said no, he doesn't require it i shoud have put myself on my own pre-op only liquid Protein shakes, Water, etc would have given myself a jump on WLS instead i put myself on a food funeral and gained 4 lbs oh well!!!! kathy

@@chloe3.5 welcome back your feelings about your body are more common than you think (dismorphia MSP) as i was in the process of loosing weight i had trouble "recognizing" myself realizing i WAS that person in the mirror 4 years later - i know that's me staring back from that mirror i'm "cute as a button" you have reached out for guidance with a therapist good for you - it can be hard asking for help as with the sleeve, the therapist "assists" you you have the hard work in front of you recognizing you have a problems is 1/2 way to finding the solution (something like that) sorry you never had support from family what are we?? chopped liver!!! LOL try and find support group (do or do not, there is no try) Yoda talking in person can be helpful you have been doing wonderful this past year keep following all the rules down 110 lbs!!! don't look at me, i didn't take them LOL good luck kathy

@@OKCPirate that's a good one that i hadn't thought of i was talking to my "neighbor" sitting next to me on the plain (hubby says i can strike up a conversation with a lamp post) shortly after we started our chat she said something like "let me pull this down for you" (referring to the arm rest) or is it the other way around don't have that prob anymore - i frequently sit in the middle seat on the plain!!! how cool is that?? kathy

@@♥dreamable all is good any type of liquid does go down smoothly no prob drinking as much as you can at 3 weeks, no problem with drinking that's great the more liquids the merrier happy 3 week surgiversary (and many more to follow) keep up the good work kathy

@@anthonyb hey dude 120 lbs down!!! holy moly that's wonderful!! great accomplishment!!! next month i will be 4 years PO can't believe how time flies!!! one month after my sleeve i turned 58 years OLD 235 lbs next month i turn 62 years YOUNG 130 lbs GOAL (actually i am 6.3 lbs over goal now) little temporary setback please don't tell anyone "they" lied about saving money since we don't go out to eat the money i've "saved" - all went to my crossover addiction SHOPPING LOL sounds like you know what i mean!! i have had my share of ups and downs, stalls, frustration etc etc all those issues don't compare to the way i feel now that's my story and i'm stickin' to it kathy congrats

@@phatfatgirl great advice from OP on dealing with the cold i have seen others also had a cold just before surgery i have heard from the board - that if you don't have a fever, you should be good to go but as you said, anesthesia has the final word follow some of the great advice given, should be feeling better can you take time off from work before surgery your office probably has you scheduled for time off for off ask the question get as much rest as you can have kleenex handy and feel better good luck, feel better kathy

@@jenlovestim question above is timely/funny to me i was at GNC a few days ago picked up 3 cases of GNC Total Lean shake 25 gr protein!! (swiss chocolate) (buy one case, other 1/2 price!!) too good to pass up salesperson suggested i microwave the shake nuked, stirred, nuked etc for total of 2 minutes yum yum yum "warmth"/hot keeps my little tummy happy for a long time kathy
