NO WAY!!!! LOL, just kidding bud wanted to clear the tension LOL first off "we" never should say we "only" lost this amount of weight or that amount any weight you loose is wonderful from .5 lbs to 17!! you have lost 10 lbs in 17 days?? or in 17 days you have lost 10 lbs?? LOLOLOL you have already started to drop/loose weight many times newbies don't know what to expect in weight loss how quickly weight will "fall off" don't know how much you thought you would loose in 17 days?? you didn't go to bed one night weighing X amount you are not going to wake up loosing all that weight either never compare your weight loss to someone elses loss people have been shot for less!!!! we all loose different amounts of weight in different time periods God Grant Me Patience, Just Hurry Up About It!!! the one thing we have in common is that we're all different!!! keep up the good work kathy

    Merry Christmas to Me!

@@dlee12585 hey dude welcome aboard newbie always room for one more!! you are off to a great start besides Water and Protein et al taking your measurements periodically is great reference good for you that you realized your importance and put yourself "out there" on the front burner, right were you belong!!! you work with the sleeve and it will work with/for you!!! getting all your water can be difficult are you able to keep it down/no problems try drinking water et al at room temp at 5 days+ take slow, slow, slow sips eventually you will be able to drink more/and faster eventually be able to gulp water is more important than protein you don't water to get dehydrated!!! IMO drinking 64+ oz of water is one of the MOST important rule protein is next, and very very important if you think it would help use a timer set for 5,10 minutes etc read, listen, learn hear good advice, experiences, suggestion you'll sometimes see a similar question posted that you wanted to ask but at the end of the day only listen to your NUT/surgeon (me too of course!! ) allll the rules are essential to follow for success that's why they call them "rules" silly head LOL this is a marathon, not a sprint one day at a time!!! your NEW YEAR is starting off with a bang!! good luck kathy

    So disappointed :(

@@yolo1981 i had a great surgery, speedy recovery, no problems etc PO that's my story, and i'm stickin' to it!!! playing devils advocate - that is not always true "surgery is a breeze, back to work in one week" friend that said so was trying to be nice/optimistic unfortunately things don't always work that way for some i wish people wouldn't say stuff like you will do great with surgery no problems with surgery or after you'll be fine this is not always true, buttttt many/most times things feel great your reactions to surgery are very common, tiredness etc very true that the first week.weeks or so can be difficult after saying all that - on the plus side things "probably" will improve gradually and you will feel back to "normal" loosing your excess weight becoming healthy feeling more confident, self-assured looking pretty darn good too!!! "the only thing we have in common, is that we're all different" please feel better hang in there!!!! hope your situation improves sooner than later good luck kathy
