    Waiting patiently ....

approval for surgery before you jump through all these hoops? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- @ i do!!! i went to a seminar, then talked in depth with surgeon doc said everything looked great so let's schedule the surgery i was so anxious/excited to have surgery ASAP talked to office people, surgery was scheduled all was going full steam ahead i had NOT been approved yet but office people said all should go fine with insurance don't worry found out later (after surgery) that medicare at the time didn't cover the sleeve i was pretty stupid, and took the word of office, that approval would come soon i didn't get approval pre-op went into surgery blindly sure enough - i was told a few months after the surgery i had been denied - after i got a bill for $22,000!!! i "discussed" the situation with my 2ndary insurance Blue Cross/Blue Shield after a few more "discussions" i was finally approved (couple of years later medicare approved the sleeve) bottom line, IMO officially get approved (all your paperwork, labs ducks in a row etc sent to insurance company) before you schedule surgery (my opinion) then do all the hoop jumping good luck Passed my psych eval! Talk to office manager she said I can have my surgery in February us waiting on the date so nervous ... Alcohol and Weightloss

@@Cape Crooner hey bud when i read you first sentence - i thought to myself, cool you are tracking, eating ,drinking (water LOL) protein - exercising you are doing great many people don't weigh everyday (I do) if you don't weigh weigh during the week, you don't know if you have stalled (an OFFICIAL stall refers to not loosing weight for at least three weeks) NOT if you haven't lost in 3 days or so LOL after NOT weighing yourself all week you step on the scale it might show a weight loss it's time to show that loss! happened to coincide with after you had drank a "little" alcohol personally i don't think the loss had anything to do with a few drinks as far as burning 3,000 calories a day for fear of death (or worse!!) i wouldn't touch that statement with a 10 ft pole LOL truth is, i don't know the right answer I don't think any OP were cruel about the tracker situation they gave their opinion an "opinion" is just that, an opinion no one can be right or wrong about an opinion like others, i think this thread has gotten out of hand The Horse Died!!!! enough said? that's great that you have lost 82 lbs sooooo close to GOAL keep up the good work congrats on weight loss kathy
