    hi @fernandfj this is being wrintten 6 weeks from your earlier post you have done so great with your weight loss looking terrific being a grandparent is one of the greatest things i love my 3 grandchildren to pieces i have a small tattoo on my right wrist that has first letter of each grandkid M organ A ndrew E than a small red heart is placed under each letter!! i did this almost 3 years ago at the young age of 60!! keep up your great job - i know you will enjoy loving that adorable grandchild (and more to follow) only young once continued health and happiness to you and family kathy

    @@thickgirl49 some people don't notice a change in their appearance for as much as 50+ lbs PO one day it will hit you that you are starting to look thinner kindof like a bad headache you all of a sudden realize it's gone, you just don't know when it happened keep up the good work for the rest of your healthier, happier, longer life kathy congrats

    @@bdfletch sounds like you are dealing with dysmorphia (can't find correct spelling ) you look in the mirror and still see the old overweight person in reality you are much thinner yes, this situation happens to others too great pics and transformation i see the weight loss - even if you don't sooner than later you WILL see "less and less" of you 42.25 inches, down 85 pounds!!! wonderful stats keep up the good work kathy congrats

    @@karine76 jean (clothes) stories are all good!! when i reached GOAL - i went to Kohl's and bought my old regular 2X elastic jeans put them over my new slender, "sexy" jeans it was amazing to me how big the old jeans looked i saw/realized what i looked like to the world in the past unlike you, @@karine76, i stared at myself and DID cry good luck bud more NSV's to come keep up the good work kathy congrats

So nervous! @@mylastchance21 tell me, tell me how did it go?? nice doc? informative continued discussion about which WLS to have i love my sleeve, wouldn't change it for the world but "they" say if you have bad gerd now, strong possibiltes that gerd will increase with the sleeve many people have no issues thought i'd throw issue into the pot, sorry bud so...............tell me how you do? waiting with baited breath!!! starting to turn blue!!! kathy

    last night hubby and i went to a nice restaurant I walked to the restroom pretty dress, fresh haircut, head held high i felt ALL eyes looking/staring at me like - ew la la lookin' pretty darn good!!! remember i always say.... i'm cute as a button!! kathy

    @@MrsPrincessPunisher welcome to the board I have been waiting for you!!! you are about to have major surgery!!! your emotions will be over the place i was nervous before i was sleeve excited, scared, happy, thrilled, petrified etc can't know for sure when your ins will reply while you are waiting - don't go crazy!! LOL hope you receive you DOS sooner than later you are on your way to a healthier, happier, longer life best of luck to you kathy
  17. @@Ninjabetic hey dude glad you are becoming active pre-op walking is great IMO i would join a gym weights, machines - all that good stuff!! possibly get a trainer for a couple of sessions ask your dr when it's ok for you to start exercising maybe 2, 3 or 6 weeks ie don't overdue anything immediately PO you can start by walking slowly, more and more often building up your stamina check with doc he'll tell you where to go August 9th is right around the corner!! good luck with the sleeve speedy recovery kathy

    Just had surgery July 21, 2016

    @@LadyJay1968 7 days, 10 lbs down, you should be happy not worried!! weight can/will/might (covering my assss LOL) be faster at the beginning eventually/soon the loss usually slows down a bit but that's ok you are not in any race this is a marathon, not a sprint good luck kathy congrats
  20. @@NewLA 17.8 lbs down in 3 weeks? that's wonderful if you don't lose any weight for a couple of days, that doesn't mean you are in a stall an "official" stall - you didn't lose any weight for at LEAST 3 weeks you are now at 3 weeks, down over 17 lbs!!! no stall here!!! you are doing great relish (or pickle LOL) the moment!!! keep up the good work i'm sure you will kathy congrats

    Do you still identify as a wls patient?

    @@LipstickLady i think i will always identify myself as a sleever like you, i didn't tell many about WLS (except immediate family) guess that means i still lead a normal life whatever that is!! in my past life i used to think about yummy foods alllll the time what will i eat next, etc now, i still think of upcoming food for the day just healthier food to eat, calories, Protein, carbs etc i think that is the difference for me that's where my sleeve comes in that will continue to help make me be successful 17+ years post op cancer - that's a long time i can/will never forget those days WLS is not as significant as breast cancer or a "brain tumor" will never forget the importance of both (in their own way) just my thoughts bud different strokes for different folks continued healthy, happy days to us both!! see you around the neighborhood kathy

    Totally regret it! @ sorry for all the complications you and your friends have/are dealing with i can't imagine how you are feeling, pain etc gradually/slowly - hopefully some issues will improve even it's only a little bit things can turn around, improve - even if it's only a slight change for the good please don't give up hope best wishes to you, your friends and family edit.... @@Elen i love my sleeve where would i be without sleeve? would still be in "heavy land" USA no regrets with sleeve health and happiness here good luck kathy
