@@jenmcd623 a couple of years ago, two amazing milestones happened I turned 60 years YOUNG!!!! reached goal (105 lbs down) my present to me was my first tattoo!! on top of right wrist are first letters of my 3 grand-kids names (small lovely italic) little red heart under each letter too sorry no good at pics (looks something like this) M organ (16) A ndrew (13) E than (9) hubby wasn't thrilled - (what a fuddy dud!! LOL) I promised no more tattoos for the next 60 years!!!! 6 months later on right ankle - cute little colored butterfly couple of months later on same ankle, the word survivor (proud breast cancer survivor here) everything in pretty small italics now i PROMISED hubby NO more tattoos!!! probably!! 125 lbs down great weight loss kathy congrats

@@pandas22 Cookies, ice cream, candy, pop-tarts, potato chips, pretzels oh wait, that's what i USED to have pre-op!! present - i'll start the ball rolling Protein bars tuna fish pkg (serves 1) eggs NUTS yogurt, yogurt, yogurt and more yogurt (Dannon Lite and Fit) cottage cheese baby bel cheese deli meat - will roll with piece of cheese in it watermelon, cantelope sugar free popsicles (still love them) hamburger (for ie chii, love it) frozen boxed chicken - 6 measured 5 oz pieces salmon boxed too (don't yell, i know, i know all those preservatives but they are yummy and so easy) just a few off the top of my head your turn guys, next............... happy shopping good luck kathy

@@PNWsleever no, i don't think so if you can get over to his office, i would run not walk and speak with staff member i've always had better results about anything talking face to face NOT monitor to monitor, or phone to phone!!! explain again the necessity to have these tests done/finished immediately fingers crossed that he'll get that message within a couple of days maybe then he'll (or staff) get their arse in gear!!! good luck kathy -

@@mamasia first off - welcome to the board we've been waiting for you!!! you will learn a lot here people will give their thoughts, experiences, good info dr/NUT (nutritionist) all have different opinions with everything your present dr is giving his thoughts saying your weight loss would be better served with the bypass that's his opinion and his right to give his thought doc says you should have bypass but unless he gives more info, (bad result etc with sleeve, problems you might experience) you should make your own decision, go with YOUR wishes as said earlier by @@Bufflehead @@#BirdDog @@KristenLe (me too, and i'm the cutest and smartest LOL) many OP weighing 300+ lbs got the sleeve whether you are 200, 300, 400+ lbs etc anyones success or failure depends on how hard you work after surgery the sleeve or any other surgery will assist your weight loss journey but it requires lots of work, following basic rules etc i know you can be a success story too good luck kathy

@@ChocolateDropp7 glad everything went well i'm biased, but i think the sleeve is terrific/the best almost 5 years PO - reached goal losing 105 lbs regain 6, but not worried, will come off soon you work with the sleeve and it will work with/for you look forward to your healthier, happier, longer life @@HorsecollarMinnie @@mshunter43 @@Shell Renewed didn't forget you guys take a power nap during surgery, doc won't mind!!! good luck all kathy

@@NYC1992 i have seen similar situations on the board why not try something like DOS May 06 2013 - lapband SW weight #s loss 150 DOS Augusts 24, 2016 revision to gastric sleeve SW 209 (i think i messed up #s somewhere ) #s loss GW make 2 tickers first could show # lbs lost with lapband 2nd ticker showing SW with gastric sleeve i wrote this tooo long but you can figure out what i meant (i hope) you had an amazing successful run with the lap band 150 lbs down!!!!!!! you are aces!!!! you'll do great now too good luck kathy congrats -

@@CVanPelt i went back to "work" the day after surgery i am a busy, active, pround grammy who is RETIRED you won't see any grass growing under my feet!! talk to HR to verify that you meet the qualifications to use your sick days maybe you'll decide to split the difference between sick and vacation days 1/2 time off with sick days, remaining time from vacation good luck with pending WLS speedy recovery kathy -

@@Alex Brecher and the answer is....... i prefer drinking calories/getting Protein in a shake i will more often than not, grab a btle of pre-mixed protein shake on the run works for me i was sleeved almost 5 years ago (December 2011) can't believe its been that long life keeps getting better kathy -
