@@ella37 4 days PO you might be retaining fluids from the IV your weight hasn't changed yet but you are not in an official stall a stall happens when you haven't lost any weight in at least 3 weeks don't get ahead of yourself in worry you'll start loosing weight, in its own time newbies don't know what to expect immediately PO re read your post - sounds like you know whats going on couple days after i was sleeved my mom called me. she was in a whisper and said, did your underpants fall to the floor?! (2 days PO) OP (whether person who had WLS or family/friend) don't know people will loose at first - then through their journey too calm down, try not to worry or get frustrated there will be plenty of time for that later! good luck kathy -

The scale finally moved
ProudGrammy replied to bellabeans's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@@bellabeans possibly to both questions many people have a few stalls others have more frequent stalls i don't think having a stall, has anything to do with how much weight you've lost (1 or 7+ lbs) your stall is now over, following all the rules etc you should continue to loose but...............eventually you might have another stall, and so on, and so forth you are NOT on an OFFICIAL stall if you haven't lost weight for 2,3+ days you ARE on an OFFICIAL stall when your weight hasn't changed in 3+ weeks congrats on loosing 7 lbs keep up the good work kathy -
@@Havasumoma first off, medicare is considered your primary insurance then..........if you have other ins., its your secondary ie i have BCBS from my employer or am i mistaken and you mean your docs office doesn't accept medicare? make phone calls, find another place that does take medicare call other docs offices you won't end up with doc you initially wanted might take a lot of research - but don't give up you should be able to fix this never give up!!!! good luck kathy

Mother had successful WLS but talking me OUT of mine
ProudGrammy replied to Malin's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
@@Malin mom continues to do great with her weight loss!! that's great but......after a few years she still has problems!! she sadly has/had health issue still i think she is concerned you might have similar problems/issues but no two people have the same experience with WLS remind her that you are confident and feel all will be well for you you are at a young age, health and weight are not good but - not terrible but you want to nip this in the bud!!! most people on this board have the regret they didn't have surgery years ago keep reading about the surgery so you can say something positive against her negativity listening to your moms situation/respecting her opinions are great end of day - being a "grown women" (early 20s?) YOU must make your own decision don't let ANYONE try and change your mind not even mom!! good luck kathy -
