Do all lightweights (BMI<35) avoid loose skin?
ProudGrammy replied to Kila Rass's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@@Kila Rass welcome, welcome, welcome age is a variable of how quickly/ or if your skin does "bounce" back elasticity of your body/skin - you shouldn't have that much loose skin having a lower bmi also means you have less weight/skin to loose you are 24!!! - a youngun - don't worry about some "possible" loose skin worrying causes wrinkles LOL i am/was a youngun like you thirty nine (39) years ago!!! you sound and "look" llike a pre-newbie you have a lot to look forward to hope DOS is sooner than later good luck kathy -

@@matthewsmiguy welcome, welcome to the board 405 to 364 lbs - that's great down 41 lbs within 2 week period after surgery you're already considered a "big loser" as long as you are following your doc/nuts rules you are doing everything right i'm sure you are drinking plenty of Water (64 oz?) Protein, etc the weight WILL come off in its own due time some people leave the hospital with a weight gain (IV solution/water) others haven't lost at all never compare yourself with others you are taking in such a little amount of calories in you can't help but lose weight don't stare at the scale all the time weigh once a week if you can control yourself otherwise, hide scale from yourself good luck bud you are doing great "God Grant Me Patience, Just Hurry Up About It" kathy congrats -

Family gathers make me depressed
ProudGrammy replied to ameme's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
@@ameme IMO its good that now you aren't craving this yummy food you don't want to eat that "nasty" heavenly food not wanting to eat stuff helps being around all that food i do understand it might be frustrating to see all that food around the table it is hard being around people that are eating and eating and eating more you are the one that is adapting to a new life with less food etc they don't need to change, you can't expect them to buttttt... they could be more considerate!! you "sound" like a youngun take your own portion, don't let mom over stuff your plate other people are good at that try and keep your head up gently remind people about your situation some might care - others might say yeah your point take care hun try and keep your spirits up while your weight goes down good luck bud kathy -
