I'm soooo excited for you!! you sound nervous duhhhh waiting is one of the harder parts of WLS you are almost their!! one small suggestion start a journal/blog write down your weights, measurements (weekly, monthly etc) illnesses - vomiting, gas, diarrhea, constipation feelings NSV's other things too you'll do great tomorrow speedy recovery hope you can sleep tonight sweet dreams kathy -

@@HanSolo1977 hey dude you MEN!!!! you lose weight faster than women!! that's a fact Jack!! your starting weight was a higher #than many the more you have to lose initially the weight usually comes off quicker to start with eventually it will slow down a bit was some of that weight lost pre-op? all of it since gastric bypass? what was NUT's explanation concerning quick weight loss why was she concerned? (i gotta admit 129 lbs is a lot in 3 months) keep up the good work while i see "less and less" of you!! kathy congrats

NSV's are the best!!! walk, run,stairs, energy leap tall buildings, chew gum, rub tummy and head - all standing on one leg!! you are amazing!! your great decision to go back to school i can hear my 16 yr old grand-daughter now "what, she wanted to go back to school?!!" @@shokoh i wish you weren't dealing with these problems good for you on reaching out to OP that's a start i can only imagine how you feel i understand everyone wants/needs to lose weight the necessary hormones made you gain weight? that's a bummer after all your hard work gradually losing weight will help you feel better mentally and physically try not to keep bread etc in the pantry i'm glad you have "some" support OP must walk in your shoes then they will know how the situation feels "maybe" you could find a cancer support group talking about your feelings/sadness helps these people have been there/done that good wishes, thoughts being sent your way kathy 18+ years proud breast cancer survivor

@@Dknal2 i don't think you can prevent the loss of your rear end after/during weight loss, exercise might help improve it if the loss is gonna happen anyways - make funeral plans no hurry on strenuous/any exercise immediately PO YOUR doc will advice you butttttt not every ones tushy is totally gone post WLS (mine went bye bye LOL) squats "sound" on the harder side right after WLS going down, lots of pressure some people get plastics to help give themselves a "lift" LOL good luck next month kathy -

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome @@Crissy Lynne hi newbie having surgery will improve, get rid of diabetes my doc says i/we will always be diabetic but now it will be helped/controlled by healthy eating, lifestyle not medication you have a great attitude towards the sleeve and your new lifestyle you are aware that the sleeve will help/assist you in losing weight but YOU have a lot of work to do you work with the sleeve, and the sleeve will work for/with you wishing you a sooner than later DOS good luck kathy -

need to hear about the good @@doxaholic et al - very long again - get a glass of water!! bad/sad/regretful stories seem to stick out/remembered more often it's good for people to vent - one reason to come here please don't dwell on the bad - negative thoughts NOW - the good stuff........... many wonderful things to look forward to in your new life NSV's galore!!! health and happiness are on the top of the list diabetes, high blood pressure, CPAP, mobility etc.- should/will get better as time passes those are just a few example of health improvements many good/funny discussions are always out there pork chops, 20 oz pieces of steak etc pizza pizza pizza!! good sex discussions about when, and how!! many more topics that you love/want to hear about (nature of the beast!!) they are all out there to be heard and giggled about like you requested to see we are a fun group!!! (that's what you wanted!!) WLS one week from Monday!!! nerves will continue - ups and downs you know that!! it's all good, you'll do great hugggggs kathy PS the above is my condensed version, you should have seen it before!! LOL -

@@10yearstolate never had those problems I sympathize with your issues i can only imagine the difficult time you are going through hope you have support from family/friends you and doc are working together towards a fix/solution i see you just joined BP welcome, welcome hope your stick around there's a lot of good info to read advice, suggestions, "real life" experiences etc you've lost 70 lbs!!! that's great possibly much of that weight was attributed to being sick but it's still gone hope you slowly but surely feel better sooner than later take care good luck kathy -

@@CowgirlJane thanx for the shout out!!! i don't think you visit BP anymore miss you i turned 58 years OLD 1 month post sleeve I will be 63 years YOUNG in 6 weeks i did lose 105 lbs 1 year PO now, (5 years later) i fluctuate UP between 6-10 lbs working on losing a little more, but i'm still good to go in another month (12/15/16) i will Celebrate my 5th year surgiversary kathy
