@Ken S. first off, the guy on the left is an imposter he is cute, but i am cuter pic changed about 10 days ago please change pic back to NORMAL I must be missing something on how to change/fix ticker my signature too i can't fix lots of spacing between lines it looks nicer when there is one common space between lines - in example some times it might look like above with big blanks (i did this one above on purpose just so you can see what i'm talking about other posts too big spaces/blanks between lines (yeach) it would be great if you could make Q&A page (pages) people being able to ask all their questions other people have shown similar problems, i might have missed them/answers i know this website info is here, still need help!! at least that's what hubby always says in general!! kathy thanx for your help -
People 3 years plus out?
ProudGrammy replied to john925's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@john925 I am 5+ years PO - GOAL past 4+ years (105 lbs down) during the last 2.5 years i fluctuated here and there as much as 5-7 lbs - but i consider myself at GOAL for ME, restriction gradually slowed down about 2 years+ my "mental" restriction" kicked in i still use a smaller plate with my small amounts trying to eat lessss sweets (that's a killer for me) pre-op my doc said to me "eat until you are full", then stop 2 bites earlier"! kind of like "tom" asks "fred" where is sleeve st???fred says,"watch me" - and get off 2 stops earlier!! I better stop writing now and grab a cookie oooops - meant to say Greek lite and fit blueberry yogurt weight gain would happen if i ate too often, and to much in this situation, size DOES matter you should usually/frequently follow all the rules that you've learned you can be a "little" lax as times passes I used to be 5"3 now i'm 6" tall kathy i will always be proudgrammy -

i didn't have the leak test kind of concerned me after the fact luckily i didn't have any problems PO i don't think it's a "must do" - think it's doc's decision - unless you ask/tell him one way or the other after 5+ years i think i am safe good luck kathy edit:the pic under my name changed a couple of days ago to a guy - this is NOT me!! wonder if this has happened to him too? my signature needs to be fixed too don't know his name also the signature on my page is messed with spaces wide apart (similar to @summerset my name is @proudgrammy @Alex Brecher could you look into this and fix it!! TIA kathy
-
@Alex Brecher under my name on the left (profile pic) there is a pic of a different person!! the info i wrote is correct, but the pic is wrong i would like to know how to fix my signature i wish there was a chapter/book Q&A about how to do things it would be very helpful to newbies - through VETS i am a healthier, happier VET - 5+ year - i'm still standing!! i would be happier if i knew the above answers TIA Kathy

Investigating if a Sleeve is right for me
ProudGrammy replied to NeonRebel's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
i would definitely do the sleeve again any day of the week, 2x on Sunday LOL no regrets about WLS or desire to have had a different surgery do a non-surgical method?ie dieting myself sure, i could continue to yo yo for the rest of my life! not being able to keep the lost weight off, and gain more lbs back - i don't think so!!! i can eat all foods - except frog legs but i never could/wanted to eat before surgery either "sounds" like you are a youngun? surgery hampering social life?? not for me!! unable to eat lots of food, drink - strength!! won't power -I WON'T eat this or that 5+ years PO - GOAL these past 4 years smiling, healthier, happier good luck with your choice kathy -
@LizzieLizzieLillput WOW!!! that's great!! thumbs up bud

@shan0520 wow - great accomplishment (NSV) pushing yourself to reach 1 mile good for you if you must cry in the car make sure you have enough kleenex!! keep up the great job you are aces!!! kathy congrats

@newnurse1999 et al if you haven't started yet, take your measurements periodically - many times you might not lose any weight, but the inches will be melting, causing clothes sizes to go down an "official" stall starts when you haven't lost any weight for at least 3 weeks !! time varies, but the stall will break and you will lose again!! "God Grant Me Patience, Just Hurry Up About It"!!! continue following plan - don't get discouraged good luck kathy
-
hey bud at 3 weeks you are probably still on liquids liquids usually will not give you that full feeling as time passes, you will start to eat solids and get that "full" feeling - at that point one sign of being full is you will sneeze, or hiccup/burp way back when..... my hubby would yell to me "oink oink, piggy" cuz he could here my different sounds/noises when i was full!! LOL oh well, gotta love him !!! doc told me to eat till i'm full, then stop 2 bites earlier follow all the rules, especially eat and drink sssssslowly good luck kathy
