short and sweet my health success/weight - came from eating properly that's how i said good riddens to being overweight truth be told i never did exercise much. but......i still try - sometimes succeed "Do or Do Not, There is no Try" kathy

@Redapples great answer. responses of over weekend, 1 week. 2-3 and even 6 weeks off for recuperation are common good replies. You will read here, that all people are different. Sounds like you have the "time" and finances to afford a longer timer period off. Your body will help you make a decision. Don't rush back to work - but don't sit on your arse too long!! remember you need to walk and walk!! 6+ years, still home, fluctuations, maintaining at GOAL. Then again, i am happily RETIRED good luck kathy

@Lara83 i am a 6+ year GOAL veteran of the sleeve. i am very happy, many health improvements. I think i am one of the long term success people, and i totally have/will continue to love my sleeve. restriction i had in the early days is no longer around for me. its a mental game/attitude for ME, that gives me success. moderation, protein, water etc still have to be followed. Over the years, i am not perfect - well then again..... i've become more lax with eating - little fluctuation, but i consider myself at GOAL - you work with the sleeve, and it will work/for you. thumbs up towards you and long success of the sleeve. good luck kathy

hi BP dudes/dudettes I went to the hospital June 27th to start dialysis. i had surgery "PDK" catheter inserted in my tummy. (Peritoneal Dialysis Catheter) Primary causes for dialysis are high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes. I have unwillingly been a member to both clubs these past 20+ years. , i have been off my meds, feeling great 6+ years GOAL sleeve- Unfortunately too much damage had been done to the kidneys I will have daily home treatments 8 hrs a night - getting a new kidney would be terrific welcome to my new life- I'm usually upbeat - today feeling sorry for myself, life can be a bummer kathy

@FluffyChix thanx for you thoughts/prayers/good wishes - hugggggs are always welcomed too hopefully dialysis will make me feel better sooner than later, side bar - your WL journey has been amazing - watching you from a wee bitty chic newbie to being down 117.6 lbs! close to GOAL!! cluck, cluck!! nice to see you, and hear your nice words hugggggs kathy

@Sosewsue61 your good thoughts are always appreciated. when i dialysis at home, i have more freedom/independence. in the day/night - i can go to events/travel - its all good /available. @Uterno thanx for your nice wishes. i do worry about possible infection. Can you explain more why i shouldn't be "concerned" you and brothers thoughts/information are appreciated. hope your brother is doing well. transplant in his future too! kathy
