but my sleeve helped break my falllll kidding about the help from the sleeve!!!! butttttt - i did break my poor nosey 2 weeks ago i was at a luncheon at my 83 year old mom's retirement home i got up and tripped over the bottom leg/part of her walker!!!! i fell against the table, hitting my head briefly - but i went smack, straight down landing on my nose and knees!!! losing my 105 lbs/goal this time didn't help break my fall ouch!!! its amazing how much blood comes out of your nose forever!!!!unbelieveable my mom was all panicked there were about 125 people around!!! OMG to add insult to injury......... the nurse helping me asked if i lived there!!! Lord help me!!!! DH came to my rescue in about 1/2 an hour - and against my will, we went to the ER CT scan showed that it was broken!!!! duhhhh ya think?? saw ENT next day - i had in and out surgery the other day (thursday) the surgery itself took about 10 minutes but i was under general anesthia i have a big splint/cast on my nose (not good at posting pics, but i'll try later) nose feels like a ton of bricks i can't blow my nose!!!!! i have decided not to hide in the house - so i am doing errands with hubby today i can't drive because i wear glasses, and i can't see the nose in front of my face!!!!! that was an unintential good one!!! soooooo, guess this shook up my otherwise boring - but wonderful life thought i would share my slory to my fellow buds in sleeveland (and any other wonderful WLS people) going out now I still do look as cute as a button kathy

@@jdillon like some, many, most (me) have lost weight only to regain + don't kick yourself anymore - you are probably already black and blue "can't wait for July" i was very anxious for WLS too but remember - the surgery is here to help/assist you lose the weigh nolthing is done magically overnight you MUST work with the sleeve - and in turn the sleeve will work for/with you but you look like a smart cookie i'm sure you are aware that this is a forever new lifestyle that you need/must follow you have 2 months til surgery you can prepare for surgery by gradually doing the following stop drinking soda (diet soda too) no more coffee don't drink with your meals wait after you eat to drink again for 45-60 minutes drink 64 oz a day these are hard rules to follow - but work on it now - so post op - you'll have a leg up on other newbies head hunger - not sure of the "official" definition, but something like................ you are not really hungry, but your tummy tells your brain you want to eat good luck kathy -
